Over the past few weeks, The Bell Tree' website has become rather active. Reviews have been added a lot but it needs more. My suggestion is a writing staff. Have peope hired to write reviews, articles, previews, etc. and reward them with a Virtual Console game. The game would vary depending on ho much you write for that month.

I'm aware The Bell Tree currently has a writing staff, but it's not that active.

The writing staff is Bul, Gohan, You, and Myself. Others can always write though. ^.^

I'm actually writing a Rock Band review right now.

What I mean is that there should be more people so we can cover a wider range of games.
Also, Bul has mentioned he sometimes gets free Wii Point Cards. Maybe he can use a few points to buy us a game for our dedication. I've wrote about seven reviews so far and only 3 of them were posted. Super Mario Galaxy, Flash Focus, Chibi Robo: Park Patrol and Wii Play have yet to be posted.
I'm also working on a Mario Party DS review.

Just keep bugging Bul about it I guess.

:p

Actually we've had a few more people on the Gamers' Lounge Team, that left the team or just stopped being active.

I joined and I've been fairly active.

Bul seems to have no comment on this.....

Writing reviews for the fun of it shouldn't be rewarded with games or points. If you want money talk to websites that are willing to pay for a review.

You are really annoying.....
What I mean is maybe as a token of his appreciation.

I know exactly what you mean by annoying. I find it really annoying when two people keep on talking while I'm trying to interrupt >.>
Thanks Mark Twain!

But really, as the French proverb goes, good advice is often annoying--bad advice never is.

Your token of appreciation is the thanks you get after writing one. The more well written is the greater the appreciation.

Each review would get rewarded by a VC game..? We're not looking for people who are out to get rewards. We're looking for people who are writing for the sake of, well, writing. Of course, sometimes the reward is free games, as in review copies, and sometimes it is indeed a Wii Points Card.

However, relying on a VC game to coax unwilling writers to jump onboard is a bad idea. Sounds more like bait to me, instead of a reward.

As Prop said, the reward is the review itself. When I finish writing a review, the finished product is my reward. It always feels amazing to see a completely finished review...

It was just an idea to make The Bell Tree more active.
Also, I agree. The finished product is definitely the best reward!

TBT's site is the most active it has ever been. We're receiving the most hits in months. I think we're steadily climbing upward, but the reliance on me has to stop. It'll definitely stop starting in early 2008, seeing as Storm already has Eternal Ocean, Darth has Mario Kart Wii, and I've got Advance Wars and Professor Layton. As for Brawl, I'm working to get more than one copy of it to test out the online portion... same with Mario Kart and Eternal Ocean.

So basically I won't be writing as much in 2008... which is a good thing. I can't do everything myself, and getting more people involved is always phenomenal.

I'm more of a guest writer, too...
Doesn't matter. So is JSnake at the moment, but you'll be seeing some more content coming from the both of us.

I don't buy many games but when I do I could try a review. They would be mediocre though.

Actually it's Endless Ocean.
Also, I'll be retiring in 2008. I may write occasional reviews but I won't be writing a lot.
...Retiring is quite a strong phrase to use for "stop writing reviews"... I'll of course continue to do it, as long as time allows. I guess I have a good few years left.

Also, nobody yet is doing Wii Fit.
