So I took the plunge and spent for Jinhsi's remaining wavebands. It helped that she was already at w1 for me, so I didn't have to go through as many pulls to accomplish it. I'm really happy about it though considering she's my favorite character in the game and has been since she was introduced.
This 10-pull was REALLY funny though, as I wasn't expecting it. I believe this is my first double 5* 10-pull in the game. It's unfortunate that the other one was Lingyang considering how bad he is, but oh well.
I am pretty excited for this new update! I think I really want to pull for Phoebe but I was kind of hoping she'd be in phase 2 instead of phase 1 so I could have more time to save astrites. I guess we will see how I feel once she releases, i'm kind of hoping she won't need her weapon because what's causing me to not have a good saving cushion of astrites is some of the characters need their weapon more than others. She looks so fun to play! I'm excited either way. The events look fun the story looks good!

The resonator showcase for Phoebe is out now! While I don't plan on pulling Phoebe, I did enjoy this one that they put together. Less than a day to go until the update!
So I got super lucky and did one singular ten pull and I got Phoebe! I told myself I would pull for her but I would not spend for her if I could not get her. I really like her design and I do like her gameplay though I do have to get more comfortable with it (honestly it's because I am still getting used to the PS5 controllers compared to playing it on the computer like I was doing before.) I do not think I will pull for her weapon.. I've heard that there is a good four star weapon for her that you can get from an event happening this patch so I plan on doing that.
The story quest was a lot of fun! I liked learning more about the lore and I loved the train echo I thought it was such a fun part of the quest to pretend to be riding on a train.
I don't think I will pull for anyone in the next phase.
Since no one else is going to talk about it, I just wanted to say this permanent fishing event and story has been ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Wuthering Waves knocked it out of the park with this feature in 2.1, just like they did with flight in 2.0. I've completed the story and am closing in on level 12 fame already, and have most of the fishing abilities unlocked. Glad that they did justice to something that's done on the waves.
Welp, I am now one premium request reset away from 100%'ing the fishing event in this game. That was a lot of fun! I have to say they really knocked it out of the park with this event, and it was super therapeutic too. Miles better than fishing in Genshin Impact or Zenless Zone Zero, lol.
Also decided I'm going to continue saving my pulls for either Brant or Cantarella. I'd REALLY like to pull Cantarella so I can pair her with Roccia and Camellya, and put Verina back on my Jiyan team. and then just yeet Baizhi off the face of the Earth.

I 100% the Whimpering Wastes event today, thereby finishing all of the events in the update. It was pretty fun, and not too difficult either. Still just saving my pulls for Cantarella at this point, I can't wait for her to release.
The resonator combat showcase for phase 2 Brant is out now. Seems to be a GREAT support for Changli and makes her relevant again.
Personally, I REALLY love Brant as a character, but I don't think I'll be pulling him because Cantarella comes out next patch, and I'd rather save my Astrites for her.

Oof I need to get back to this game. Just been very preoccupied with a bunch of stuff the past few months and just plain tired from my personal problems that in general I stopped playing games for a good amount of time. Wuthering Waves is one of the few free to play games I immensely enjoy, even though I fall behind. I'll have to work on getting back to it this week.
