Your Favorite Cranky Villager?

Elvis is my favourite cranky villager! Elvis has been my villager since New Leaf and he grow on me so much. He look fierce but is actually a big softie.

I always receive letters from him encouraging me, tell me it is ok to rest a while and send me an umbrella in a letter so it would be useful to me during rainfall.

I love his goodbye wave whenever I exit his house in New Horizons. He waves one of his hands with tail swinging and gives me a small nod and a big smile. If possible, you need to see Elvis goodbye wave, it is very cute!!!!

For an Alice in Wonderland theme island, I think Elvis is quite fitting. He has a golden European style house and his door is red colour. I think it is maybe suitable in a red queen area?

Monty! I like his smile and his little glasses when he sits down to read, he looks very sweet and cosy. Also his house interior is my favorite!

Roscoe! I had him in my Wild World town and have liked him ever since. And he is a demon horse, period.

I've always loved Cheif. He was one of my first villagers in the original game. He's also just a cute doggo trying to act tough. :3

I had 3 thus far and from them I am really liking:

- Apollo ( very senior but with a nice funny sarcastic touch , nice aesthetics, good home exterior and interior, like his hobby which is sailing) and im just getting to know Tom the cranky cat now so i cant say 100%.

- Tom the Cranky cat ( like his aesthetics, he seems to fit the Cool vibe i think, like his home exterior and interior ). I down know Tom that much yet, but i think i will like him too.


For the moment my fab is Apollo, in case you are wondering, my other cranky was Angus which wasn't terrible but he giving me the cranky old grandpa type

I have to say Dobie I was so very lucky and he came to my island through a giveaway. He is adorable and I know he is a cranky but he is just the sweetest. My Grandpa Dobie will never leave Bayside

I remember I had Roscoe and Static a long time ago on Wild World... and the other day, when I was hunting villagers who can match the theme I gave my island, I met that beautiful stallion again! So happy! I think he's by far my favorite with Wolfgang I had too when I was a child. So many memories! Both of them have a special place in my heart.

Others I like for their appareance could be Fang, Kabuki, Cyd (omg I want him so much!), Chief and Lobo. But I never met them in person.

Wolfgang is my favorite cranky and my favorite villager! I call him my island Dad. He was my first cranky villager at the campsite. I was a little afraid of him, because I still remember when villagers were mean. But he ended up being a total sweetie, which has made me love him all the more. The other day, he told me to be careful running around, which reminded me of my grandpa, who used to tell me that when I was little.

I don't think he'd really fit with an AiW themed island tho.

as others are saying, it's hard to pick just one cuz they're all big sweeties i have groucho right now, and even though i forget his name and call him curt (who i had in new leaf for several years, in my defense), i still think he rules.

Chief! i have him since new leaf and i just really like how simple and clean he looks tbh and i just got attached to him before as to why i decided to let him on my island again

Cranky is not my favorite personality type but I love Ike, who I invited on a whim from my campsite, to death! The deep voices of the crankies kind of bother me generally (I don’t know why - I think because I think of all the villagers as children/ babies), but Ike, who is big and cuddly looking makes it feel less jarring. He is an excellent cranky, now I just wish they would add poko back in. I think Curt and Grizzly are also particularly great.

I recently invited Cyd to my second island and so far am loving him. He is very bright and cuddly, and I think the design of his eyes is cute and unique.

I think Kabuki is beautiful and he has one of the best overall designs in the game. Ultimately I just did not get fully attached to him when I had him for whatever reason.

Design wise I like Hamphrey, Rocco, Roscoe, Wart Jr., Spike, and Croque a lot as well.

I really like the look of Butch right now, not sure why, but he’s very cute to me, and may be a future resident on Wailea, if I can bring myself to let Ike move. I don’t think I can ever handle having 2 crankies (unless we got more villager spots )

others have made far better suggestions than I can about who fits on an Alice and wonderland themed island, but based on no research or knowledge, I wonder if somehow Cyd could fit. He has a whimsical quality to him that seems like it would fit aesthetically.
