Your Favorite Mario Title?

super mario sunshine!!! havent played that one in years but it was so much fun when i was a kid, omg. and idk but to me it feels like it's different from most other mario games in a good way. i really liked the water aspect, and the enemies and dark mario were cool.

my fav thing in that game was to jsut run around, collect fruit, jump on those weird villagers' heads (while they were screaming because they thought i was the evil guy), and spray water on the ground to slide on my stomach like a penguin. best game ever

If we're counting Paper Mario, then the original Paper Mario on the N64. I played the frick out of that when I was a kid, and I still play it on virtual console. I love the characterizations and how each NPC is different both visually and in personality. I love the battle mechanics and the strategy involved. I remember being challenged by boss battles as a kid and enjoying those challenges. They weren't about if you ground pound a boss 3 times, it involved planning and careful item usage and careful special move usage and trial and error. And the writers made Peach interesting! They made Peach interesting!

If we're not counting Paper Mario, then Super Mario Sunshine. The levels, the music, those amazing controls and FLUDD mechanics, just so soooo good to me.

One of my favourite games of all time is Paper Mario 2! (perfect in every way). Otherwise I love mario party and mario kart ^^

Super Mario World, although Super Mario Galaxy was super fun too.

My favorite Mario game so far? Hmm... tough choice. I have to say it is a tie between Super Mario Sunshine due to amazing and fun gameplay when i first played it, or the old N64 Mario Party 1 and 3. Oh how I missed Minigames like the Derby Car Race or the snowball minigame where everyone makes a snowball and moves around just to shoot your opponent out of the mountain. But yeah, mine has to be one of these.
