I pretty much like every genre except most country and dance/house music, but alternative pop/rock/musical theatre are my favourites!

Tons of ambient stuff, dream, modern classical, indie, alternative, post-rock, electronic, and bit of hip-hop.
Just anything that has me feeling a way, it may usually be any genre.

These are my favorite genres:

- Metal
- Industrial
- Alternative
- Classic Rock
- Classical

I kept it high-level, but I love when the genres cross. One of my favorite things is when classical instruments are used in metal.

Darkwave/synthpop/EBM and metal are my favourites. Not only is the music fantastic but the scene is incredible - even if I go to a gig alone (99% of the time) I always end up finding someone to chat and have a drink with.

I have a few artists I like in most genres though. Serbian pop-folk music is probably one of my weirder passions.

I'm a big fan of 80's pop/rock, new wave, synth pop, glam rock, and the like. That makes up most of what I enjoy, but I also really like 70's-80's prog rock and even older country music (like Johnny Cash) a lot.

psychedelic 60s pop/rock stuff and political folk/protest music from the 60s-70s as well.

I also like some world/avant-garde/post-punk stuff as well.

My main genres are post-punk, psychedelic rock, new wave & synthpop.

Video game music (don’t really know if you would consider that a genre or not though) and different styles of jazz. :)

I love a lot of the music from the 60s/70s: Soul/R&B, Progressive/Psychedelic Rock, British Folk/Rock, and Soft Rock. I do listen to some modern Progressive rock and British Folk/Rock, too.

I also love classical music, of course. My favorite eras are Baroque, Early Music, Impressionism, and some Classic.

I started using rym specially to look up all the genres  My music style is pretty all-over, as there's only a handful of artists I really listen to. But electro, pop, and new wave seem to appear multiple times! I've never really known the names of the types of music that I like, so a thank you is in order for giving me the push to finally find out ;)

I can dig every type of music if I have a good day or two listening to music from various artists and the mainstream and underground stuff. But I generally like Metal (New and old), Hip Hop (90s and underground stuff), 60s and 70s classic rock, 80s Punk and Hardcore , 80s post punk, some new wave, some goth here and there. Even some Spanish music from Mexico, Colombia, and Peru I like if im in the mood.

Hip-hop, a good amount of alternative. Some soft rock and pop I don't mind either, but I'm not a fan of all of it.

I love country music, even though a lot of people don’t like it.

Metal, in particular:
Heavy/classic
Power
Thrash
Doom
Stoner
Death
Black
Sludge
Progressive

Non-metal:
Classical
Jazz
Downtempo
Dubstep
Punk/Hardcore
Post-punk
Goth
Psychedelic rock
Progressive rock
Classic/Hard Rock
Trance
Hip-hop
Shoegaze/dream pop

My go-to will always be rock. Alternative if you want me to be specific. However, recently I've been listening to more trance and EDM. Before that was video game OSTs like GRIS, Journey, and Nier Automata....I guess that it depends on my mood.

I'll basically listen to everything, but I mostly listen to synthpop and stuff with a psychedelic aspect.
