As the title suggest. What are your favourite halloween or horror themed movies and television shows? I love everything horror, so their is a good chance I may have already watched it, but try to give me some new ideas. I like things that are more on the scary side, that will make me jump. I like ghost/paranormal ones most.

Netflix has some pretty good ones these days! There was one called "Hush" that had me squirming

I'm not a fan of scary movies so I watch hocus pocus every year bc I loved it as a kid :)

I did watch Hush. It was a really good movie. Different to most horror movies I seen these days. That same actress was in Netflix;s "The Haunting of Hill House" television show. I LOVED that show. It was spooky and so well thought out. I binged watched the sucker everywhere I got the chance. At home, on the bus, at work. I was glued to it.

Funny enough I watched that movie for the first time (that I ) like last year. And I feel like I wasn`t paying that much attention. Maybe I should watch it again this year for the season. I always watch Halloweentown.

I'm not such a fan of horror movies or TV shows, so I rather watch comedy stuff with those themes.
Favorite would be here The Addams Family.

I’m a huge fan of horror movies/shows, but I’m not someone who’s ever been afraid of them. My friends and I turn every movie inot a big joke....
We watch whatever new gore or horror movie is coming out that year, and rewatched older series. Horror is a genre that ages the worst, making older movies all seem like comedies now. If anyone was afraid of something in their childhood, they should come back to it a decade later seriously.

Recently I wanted to rewatched Coraline, it’s one of those “horror” movies I like to watch every year, but my gf said it looked too creepy. She’s never seen it and doesn’t do well with creepy, so AAAAAA.

But also we recently watched “The Boy”, which I thought was pretty good, despite it’s so-so reviews.

To be honest, I’m a big chicken, so scary movies are off the table for me. I do love to watch Hocus Pocus every October though lol

Someone else said the same thing. Haha. I have only watched it once, last year. I wasn't paying enough attention. I might watch it again this year and pay more attention this time.

I wouldn't say I am scared of them. Sometimes certain scenes can make me job though. I watched a movie in D-Box seats. So they seats moved and stuff. It did make the movie more scary. It was pretty cool.

I forgot about The Boy. I might need to re-watch it. It's been a while and I don't remember much from it.

And I know what you're saying about old horror movies being funny now. My mother said when Evil Dead came out it was the scariest movie around. When my brother and I watched it, it was laughable. But we loved it. Except Evil Dead 3. I can't bring myself to watch it. It just looks way too bad.

I wanna watched the new animated Addams Family that recently came out.

I watch the movie Halloween.

I was trying to watch the all at one point. Some of them are just really bad and make no sense to the story. The first couple are good though. And I liked the new one.

My favorite horror movie has always been Child's Play. It's cheesy but in a good way for me, I guess. I love dolls and so I love Chucky. I even have a Chucky doll in real life.

I don't like the most recent ones in the series, though. The first one is the best and Bride of Chucky is my second favorite. After that, they've just gone downhill for me.

I always watch Halloweentown this time of year! And Scary Godmother :p

I love Chucky too! I have watched it since I was a child. Haha. I think my favourite was Child's Play 2. Also liked 1 and Bride of Chucky. Everything after that is kinda bad. I didn't mind the other ones, except for Seed of Chucky. That one was pretty bad.

I don't own a doll. But I have a co worker who does. He keeps it in his truck in the passenger window. Haha,

Hocus Pocus and Sleepy Hollow!

I need to rewatch Hocus Pocus. I clearly wasn't paying enough attention when I watched it. I have always meant to watch Sleepy Hollow, but have not yet. I really should get on that.

The Addams Family (I haven't watched the animated version yet), Beetlejuice, Casper, and Hocus Pocus.

I guessed I missed out, but I wanted to watch Halloweentown.

For TV special, my favorite is It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to horror movies, so if I want to watch a movie that has a Halloween or scary vibe then I'll just rewatch a movie I've liked since I was a kid like Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktakular, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Casper, or Monster House.
