Your Least Favorite Villagers

I’m sure there is another thread about this. I got to page 29 looking for it and gave up.

I was island hopping looking for villagers once when I came across Pietro. I immediately just turned around and left. Hard. Pass. I cannot stand him. I did the same with Barold, but for some reason stopped to consider Chops... There’s clearly no method to my madness.

Are there any villagers you’ve interacted with or had on your island that you simply can’t stand?

"Ugly" villagers and jocks. Ofc the ugly thing is entirely subjective and some villagers considered ugly by some, are good looking for others.

I love all the personalities. They’re all absolutely necessary in my towns. There aren’t any villagers I hate really. I’m not very fond of the deer and most cats purely because of looks though.

I shouldn’t judge someone on their looks and I’m sure there are people who probably love this villager but Pietro actually scares me. I blame my dislike of clowns in real life for my distaste of Pietro.

I like the idea of a colorful villager, but I don't think that makeup helped xD
I think Astrid for example looks way better, but still gives a clown-y vibe.

I agree Astrid does look better but it doesn’t trigger my clownphobia.

I don't like that the female Kangaroos all have a baby that copies everything they do lol

Barold. He reminds me of someone i have issues with irl and he also moved into my flower field in new leaf.....

I will only like a villager if I like their design. Personality doesn't matter at all to me, nor does their house or theme! I really don't like lion or anteater villagers because I think they look weird :']

i don’t like the gorillas, especially Rocket because she was my starter and she wouldn’t leave for months. I also don’t like kangaroos because their design creeps me out.

I guess my least favorite are the kangaroos. In theory, they should be super cute, but in the actual game, they are just not cute.

When I see a particularly hideous villager, I think, "You don't deserve this, you were just modeled this way."

Truffles. I don't like her eyebrows. For a peppy, she comes across as kind of belligerent.

It is a bit of a gut reaction, and as the OP said, it doesn’t always make sense. I don’t like the gorillas and tend not to like the bulls (or cows much either).

Pietro was my original campsite villager, and I didn’t like him at all. Sherb was one of my 3 house building move-ins. Objectively, he seems like one I should like, but I didn’t. Got rid of both ASAP

The ones with heavy make-up or just generally "loud" faces/eyes I find are the ones I avoid the most. I just find them hilariously cartoony. I prefer the villagers that have softer/normal face designs.

I dunno why but I just couldn't stand Leopold. Maybe because he was a forced move in?

I finally got Judy's photo today so she's off my island the second she asks ... I really wanted to like the new villagers but, so far, her and Audie are boring as hell ... Pietro is one of my top villagers, I love him, and I'd love to have Barold .... I've never met him but he seems interesting ...

I'm not overly fond of the gorillas, monkeys, or mice on this game. I strongly dislike rodents in real life so I'm probably biased. Ugh like when the little varmints invade your house. Gross. But I digress.

He’s on my island.

I can’t stand Peewee. His design is just ugly. I also can’t stand the inside of the penguin houses. I don’t like the ice furnitures, and I think all the penguins have them?

The worst villager would have to be Elise. Bad blood when she was in my NL town. She will never set foot anywhere near my island. I don't have any problems with other monkeys though.
The worst animal type for me is the hippo. If I see a hippo while island hopping it is an instant no. I also dislike the female kangaroos because of the mimicking joeys. It really creeps me out so maybe thats why Rooney and Walt are my favourite kangaroos.
