I like some shows like American Dad and Bob's Burgers and other shows, like Family Guy and pretty much any show that relies on "shocking" and vulgar humor for 99% of their jokes, get on all my nerves. Not all adult oriented cartoons are the same.

Though I'll vote like because I want to support making animation more of a wide-spread art in general. Not just kids shows and that single spot in movie awards that always goes to the Disney movie because nobody bothers to watch anything else.

Most adult cartoons are not good. Like Family Guy and its crappy, mean-spirited characters and reliance on random violence for no reason/shock humor. That's the general problem with Seth McFarlane cartoons for me.

There are only two adult cartoons I love: King of the Hill and Futurama. Futurama didn't fare so well when it came back, but it was very funny in its original run. King of the Hill is the prime example of how I wish adult cartoons would be.

I like the Simpson's and Bob's Burgers. Never got around to Rick and Morty. Shows like Family Guy and Robot Chicken are so trashy and gross though.

I watch a lot of cartoons people consider "adult" I guess. I love Regular Show Rick and Morty, Futurama, Bob's Burgers, King of the Hill, Beavis and Butthead and a few others. I even like the super trashy shows like Superjail lol. I don't watch South Park or Family Guy, just kinda got sick of them.

I love adult cartoons since they're not nearly as limited as shows aimed towards kids. Not to say I don't enjoy both, they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. South Park in particular is super relevant as they do episodes about current topics (their production cycle takes a single week) and they mask it behind satire. Season 10 was one of my favorites as it lampoons the double standards/glaring hypocrisy of the social justice movement perfectly. Rick & Morty has been pretty good so far as well, and so has Archer. I miss Futurama but honestly that show never quite had the same charm after its revival.

I think they're great! I really enjoy watching Adult Swim and stuff, and I love the "adult" cartoons that have been around for a while. My fave is Futurama, and I've watched it literally all the way through over 10 times. I really enjoy the Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, pretty much all of the "older" adult shows, and I also enjoy Rick and Morty and all of the really messed up Adult Swim shows... like so my humor I'm not even kidding, the super random trippy af stuff. XD

I liked this one cartoon where it was lie teen titans go but with martian man hunter 'Superman' scooby doo's girlfriend (or something) and this ne princess where she messed everything up. She wore a purple dress and had brown hair.

I don't know why but when I first saw futurama I thought "HOLY CRAP I GOTTA WATCH THIS!" and now i'm like "Jeez doctor Zoidberg C;

See, my issue is most adult cartoons focus on being too raunchy, and while there's nothing wrong with that it begins to become a sort of pattern and sets a standard that makes that sorta raunchy humor get old. It's nice to see mature themes in adult cartoons being addressed I personally think, because it's using the "adult" label pretty well. If someone can mix raunchy and mature together in a cartoon, that's nice too.

I like adult cartoons. There are a few I don't care for but for the most part I think they're pretty good. And just because I don't like one of the shows I can usually see how it might appeal to someone else.

I am glad someone else loves Futurama, and I totally forgot King of the Hill, I love that show too. Literally everytime I see this gif:

i have enjoyed many episode of South Park however i don't think show is a funny as it once was. And Simpsons are just phoneing it in trying to get to 30 at this point wile both are funny there not as funny as they once were. Robot Chicken +1 .

I have shifted my tastes more to anime i enjoy Full Metal Alchemist and Bleach, One Piece and FLCL. and spend a lot of time on Crunchyroll.

The Simpsons is the only one I've properly gotten into, and even then it's only the hand-drawn episodes I care much for (seasons 1-12). You need a good mix of comedy (assuming it's a comedy), storytelling, music and visuals.

I've seen a few seasons of Family Guy, but some scenes are over-the-top, jokes are dragged on for too long, the animation style of the newer episodes is bland and the story is all over the place.

Probably ought to give Futurama a go since it's from Matt Groening and all.

Yeah, 30 would be a good milestone to kill it off at. I don't think there are even any plans for anything after season 28 (the current one) yet, but it's still a little early to say, and my Wikipedia adventures knowledge is a little outdated anyway.

It... depends?? I don't care for South Park, but that's not to say I wouldn't watch it. It can be funny and entertaining. I just don't go out of my way to watch it and certain other shows.
But I LOVE Rick and Morty and Futurama, like a lot. And Venture Bros. I legit don't like Family Guy tho xD

some adult cartoons are amazing (king of satire south park, futurama, rick and morty) and i've heard bojack horseman is a life changing show, i need to check it out one of these days

a lot of them are bad though, like really bad

I used to enjoy them. Some "adult cartoons" are still childish and filled with dumb humour though.
I dislike everything made by Seth MacFarlane however if you like his shows, more power to you.
But there's one adult cartoon that's just offensive for the sake of being offensive, it's not giving a message on society or whatever like South Park does (I'm not a fan of it though) and it's called The Nutshack. Just the worst thing I've ever seen.
