more nods to past games!! like for example... i don't want wild world's holidays to return but it would be cute to a villager that originated from wild world talk about how they used to celebrate a holiday in their old town, like a villager talking about how they would compliment others for a holiday when the date in the game is set to the fourth sunday of an odd-numbered month

Heated arguements where villagers throw tantrums and even diss you behind your back! Obviously this doesn't suit ac very much but I've always thought it could be cool and make it more realistic haha

I always wanted to decorate my villagers' houses, especially when you've been playing for a while and they start replacing their beds with fish tanks （｀Δ?）

The reason I think it's unlikely is cause it doesn't really make sense to tell villagers what to do with their own houses, unless there's some kinda HHD-type mechanic or they give you more freedom when they ask you for decorating suggestions. I guess you can choose where their houses go now tho so maybe it's not as unlikely as it seems

Also one of my favourite festivals from old games is the acorn festival, and I REALLY want that back

I could actually see this one happening! Maybe once you've got your island so far developed, you can invite Lottie to be the town's interior design expert and help her decorate the villager houses. Honestly the house interior they showed (Fuchsia I think?) looked so good, miles ahead of the house interiors in other games. It actually looked like somewhere that would be nice to live!

Ok it's totally not happening but I really wish they'd make it possible to make at least on custom villager, maybe a villager who works similar to how Blanca used to but I know that's not gonna happen but dang if I could make my own villagers that would be amazing lol, also I hope they bring back quetzal from the GameCube animal crossing lol, I love him.

I don't want forced friendship levels.

This time around I'd like more time for myself. To landscape and not be fetching fruit constantly.

I'd like the villagers to be more like neighbors, who are self sufficient.

I also pray there are no online events like PC.

I know some might say this takes away from the spirit of the game, but I think it would be interesting if there were a handful of human villagers that could be your neighbor. Or maybe even just one special character that's a human.

ஐIf we get the Dream Suite again, it would be nice to post a picture of your town with the name do people can see what kind of dream they're getting themselves into... Some of them are just creepy... Have to be in the mood for that!

ஐReactions to pitfalls: I'd like for my character to react the same way villagers do. So I'd like to put myself in the correct mood that will last a couple of minutes and for villagers to acknowledge this. I can imagine a cranky villager offering me some candy to cheer me up and I'd like to do the same for them, cheer them up or help them get out of their mood!

ஐI'd like to swim with my besties, no not people, villagers! I want them to get into their cute wetsuit and join me in the sea or river!

It's not the most wild idea far-fetched idea, but I would love a new method of switching between tools.

Something similar to how Breath of the Wild weapon switching works would be ideal. I am currently playing New Leaf while I had this idea. So often I go through all my other tools before I switch to the one I was looking for. I get that some people could probably memorize the rotation, but my brain just doesn't hold onto information like that. So this is the one thing that, if it was implemented in the game, I would go

I think it would be cool but unlikely if there was more "wildlife." Like, you know the little yellow birds in previous games? There could definitely be more varieties of birds flying around on the island! Seagulls, parrots... Even just different colors would be good enough.

Also, I wish that the white owl on the billboard could come to eat beans when you throw them at night. A whole swarm of owls, even! AC owls are vegetarian.

if there are PWP's in New Horizons or a similar system, i would like to have more colour options -
as one example, i thought the balloon arch in New Leaf was so cute, but it would have been even better to have the choice of more themes and colours.

such as balloons with bunny ears, or heart shaped balloons.. more colour choices such as pink/red/white for Valentine's day, red/white/green for Christmas, orange/black/purple for Halloween and so on
