I've decided to drop this game for now. Unfortunately the story seems mid so far, the gameplay is just O.K., and the events have been kind of lame. I'd rather focus my playtime on Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Wuthering Waves for now. I'll probably watch some YouTube videos on recaps of the future patches, but unless something really stands out, I'm good with not continuing to play.
Picked this game back up again after a month because I heard from a friend that the story has improved and there's been quality of life improvements as well! I can't comment on the newest story, but will report back here once I finish it. I can say, however, that the QoL improvements have been good so far (from what I've seen).
First of all, there's an event now for returning players if you've been offline for at least 14 days. The event includes free rewards for dailies/easy tasks, double drops for most anything at the HIA Club, the ability to choose a co-star agent to help you in battles, and more.
The game also has a reserve system in place now for your fuel, so you can be inactive for awhile without having to worry about your fuel being capped.
And last, but certainly not least, you can finally change the time at will! Probably my favorite QoL improvement as it makes playing the game in general a LOT easier. Next to this you can also choose to switch who you play as in the overworld, although I believe the only units playable in the overworld for now are Belle, Wise, Caesar King, and Burnice White.
Speaking of Caesar King, I pulled on her banner and won the 50/50!!! I also got her weapon in my very first 10-pull on the weapon banner. My RNG has been kind of cracked in this game, which is part of the reason I came back.

I caught up and finished the newest story, and absolutely loved it! I definitely believe the game has potential at this point. 1.2 introduces some good QoL improvements, and I've heard supposedly by 1.4 the game will be looking pretty solid.
Also, here's more Caesar King content that I missed posting about. I've now realized that the reason music is so prevalent in this game (and even in the artifact system) is because it's the one thing that truly reminds the people in this world about the old civilization, and that's charming imo.

So I posted about this in another thread already, but I went for Burnice on her banner and lost the 50/50 to Rina, which was fine because I didn't have her yet. Kept going and got Burnice guaranteed and her signature weapon. I also just today pulled the Bangvolver Bangboo and Rina's cinema 1 on the standard banner as well with less than 10 pity.
I've put together and started building my Jane/Burnice/Caesar team because it seems like that's the best team in the game at the moment, especially for clearing difficult content. I'm excited for the future of this game still. I'm unsure if I'll be pulling on Yanagi's banner at this point, but I am most definitely skipping Lighter, lol.
Also! I reached level 55 finally today, and it looks like it'll be awhile before I get to 56 at this point.

The version 1.3 teaser is out. Yanagi looks SICK as heck and it's going to be difficult to decide whether to pull for her or not. I do have Jane already, but it looks like she increases disorder damage by a ton, which makes it really tempting to pull her. Lighter is most likely a skip though as I'm not in need of another S rank Fire character at this point.
Yanagi trailer is out, and as I said before, she looks sick AS HECK. I'm going to be casually chucking pulls at her banner, but if I don't get her won't be too huge of a loss for me considering I already have the current best core in Jane/Burnice/Caesar. Good luck if you're pulling for her!
Did my pulls and lost on Yanagi's banner.... which was unfortunate, but at least it was to the one character I didn't have yet, Nekomata (I swear if I got another Lycaon cinema I prob would have uninstalled again, LOL)!
Decided to keep pulling and obtained Yanagi guaranteed, and won on her weapon banner. Mostly because her disorder damage is insane, I'm not pulling on Lighter's banner, and I'm not sure when, if ever, Miyabi is going to be released at this point.
Yanagi is maxed and mostly built at this point... I just need to work on her core skill mainly, which will take some time. Looking forward to experiencing the 1.3 story!
Mentioned this in another thread, but I lost to Rina at less than 10 pity on the limited banner, which is amazing because now I'm guaranteed for Miyabi and she is confirmed to be next patch. I'm thinking I may m6 her as well and get all of her cinemas once her banner drops.
I also today just finished maxing Yanagi's core skill. :3
Finished the main story special episode today! It was pretty fun and good for the most part. I also did a few comms afterwards and... reached Interknot level 56! I've been able to clear a few more comms that I wasn't able to clear previously as well. Really having fun with this game and all it has to offer.
I'm currently guaranteed in this game for Miyabi, and just saving my pulls at the moment for her. Planning on skipping Lighter's banner as I don't find him that interesting.
