First off, please don't visit a town because it is open. That doesn't mean I want random visitors, btw. I had been waiting on a trade, and wasn't expecting you.

Second, I only let you look around because I was being nice . I was going to kick you out, but I didn't want you to be mad at me.

Third, that was my STORAGE town. I have tons of rare and valuable items there, and I was AFK, because I WAS WAITING ON A TRADE. Who knows what you could've taken. I have TONS of stuff in that town, and I do not appreciate random visitors. I never told you it was ok to come to my town.

Finally, I never actually saved. I shut off my wifi so that you couldn't take anything.

Thanks for explaining! Even though I've been playing ACNL for quite a long time, I didn't play multiplayer a lot and for a very long time so it's the first time I've experienced these things.
