lol or lmao are sometimes used ironically, as like a filler at the end of a sentence. I don't think I ever use these when I'm actually laughing irl.

haha is like a friendly chuckle usually used at the end of a sentence.

hahahahaha is when I'm actually laughing, probably followed by laughing emoji's.

Laughing emoji's are also used when I'm laughing, but sometimes used like a filler.
