A couple questions about villagers and moving

First question. Do I have to be mean for a villager to think about moving out, or does is sometimes happen at random?

Second question. When a new villager moves in, will the exterior of their house change to match?

1. No you don't have to be mean to a villager to make them move out. Usually i talk a lot less to them but i don't ignore them completely.

2. Yes it does!
