ACNH Pet Peeves and Petty Complaints Thread

I find it strange that Gracie doesn’t make an appearance in the game outside of using her Amiibo or Happy Home Paradise. I did like it when she had her own floor in Nook’s Emporium in NL and some of the clothing and furniture she sold exclusively was really nice especially the Sweets and Playing Cards collections. The Sweets set is perfect for mixing and matching with the Sanrio items especially with the Little Stars, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin themes.
It still bothers me that they failed to even give her character any potential in ACNH. Gracie Grace used to sell a lot of really expensive items in the older AC games and gave you a reason to work yourself hard to earn those bells to get those items.

I guess players didn't like the fact that a fictional giraffe made fun of the outfits their fictional character wore. Now we got Label who will fall in love with your outfit no matter how bad it is.

I genuinely can't tell if people are just that sensitive and actually complained about it or if Nintendo is just assuming we're all sensitive and will get upset.

well, this is just great … one of the very few times in my entire life that I actually need a sea bass, I get an Oarfish. O__o

Okay can I just say I do not like it whenever CJ askes me to do this so called "Sea Sport Challenge?" Like okay I understand this is meant to be like a fun actitivty to do but when you've done like several times it just gets repetitive and time consuming. All I wanted to do was to sell fish and he forces a challenge on me before I can even sell my fish to him. At least Flick doesn't do this. Could you imagine him issuing a challenge saying that you need to catch "3 big bugs?" before you even sell bugs to him? I can see that getting annoying really fast.

I quite like the Seasports Challenge, but the one I did the other day was literally just "catch 5 fish in a row" and that's too easy! Like, at least "catch 5 small fish" has some challenge to it, but CJ, I'm literally just catching 5 fish.

tbh, I think Nintendo are smart enough to know what's upsetting and what isn't, so I think it's just "Label exists but she hasn't done anything except be someone else's lackey, so why not have her be the roaming fashionista this time around?"

I've been trying 20 times.....throughout the day trying to get a good turnip price on both of my islands (I have 2 switches and 2 copies of the game btw) and I keep getting Turnip Prices where they keep flucationing and keep on decreasing. UGH! now I remember why I stopped selling turnips. It takes so long trying to get a good turnip price and the amount of time traveling I was doing was starting to get to me. So I had to stop at like the price 153. I know it could've been better but at this point I was so over it.

I'm with you! I pretty much avoid CJ unless it's a fishing tourney then I sometimes play, sometimes don't. Depends if I want any of the prizes:)

The fact that seashells have different icons in your inventory, but not in your storage. I have a ton and I decided to use them to craft furniture, but it's mildly inconvenient having to check each stack to see if I'm grabbing the right shells.

Not having the option to build additional facilities on the main island. That’s why I have to rely on the human houses as facilities.

You actually manage to get them to sit on benches?
No I am talking about when they are actually sitting on the Benches and you cannot make them get up to gift them. You can run into them when they are sitting on the floor to make them get up, but when they are sitting down on any furniture that makes them sit you cannot make them get up. So you have to wait until they get off.

Yeah I get what you're saying. I was just being sarcastic. My villagers never sit on anything I put out. In fact the closest they got was when Punchy walked up when I was decorating a spot, looked at the bench I just put out, and then sat on the ground.

I like the hourly music, but they should have gave us an option to turn it off. There was a period that I would play at 7PM every day after getting off work, and that song specifically was ruined for me because of how often I heard it. Now I just play the game at a low volume and play my own music externally if I'm decorating outside.

I know it's like that in every game, but it's not a hard feature to implement. At least I never really got sick of New Leaf's music, but I didn't play that game to death like I did with New Horizons. Heck, I'll even listen to hourly music from the GameCube and City Folk versions if there was a way to replace the songs.

I would love to be able to turn the hourly music off. I do like the hourly music but to me it sometimes seems to loud. It sometimes drowns out the sound of the bugs and balloons.

The hourly music still sucks. I don't like the instruments they used so basically all the music is grating to me. I even listen to New Leafs and it's just so much better. Even Wild World's too.
