Ah okay. No wonder Mallary on my island sounds more duck-like than the rest of my non-duck villagers. But yes, Animalese sounds much more natural in NH compared to the older games.in NH the voice actually varies based on species. my normal villager megan has a deep voice, whereas Kiki's is a bit higher. I haven't heard the cranky voice for bears/elephants in NH but I have a cranky hamster and it sounds very off lol.
I feel like New Horizons makes the Animalese more "natural" sounding, like what a real animal crossing character would sound like, whereas older games (most noticeable in Wild World) it feels more digital.
New Leaf's animalese is iconic and charming.
I wonder if there would ever be a feature for the player character to speak it too when using the chat button. Might sound a bit weird, however.
What do you mean I can't hang my vine garlands alongside my cliffs???i hate that we can't put hanging items on cliff walls, honestly! it would make things so conceptually fresh
For real, that's something I wish the game had. We got permanent ladders, why not other things?
Yep. This and when they decide to sit (or fish) in the middle of a 1x1 path with no easy way to go around them. Happens way too much next to my rivers in which I have a fence built just far enough so that the river itself can still be used for fishing.I don't like it when villagers get in the way. Like sometimes when you're busy hitting a rock several times they like to come near you and then you somehow talk to them which makes you mess up your hits on the rock so you don't get enough materials.
Or craft fishing bait with pockets full of Manila Clams...It's been 3 years what do you meeeeaaaan I have to exit and re-enter the dressing room every time I want to buy different colours of the same thing!
