Additional rooms on the 2nd floor

It seems like we can have additional rooms on the second floor! Not sure if I will get every upgrade. Sometimes smaller rooms fit better

I checked the last 5 pages and didn't find anything about this topic so here you go!

Way too much space for me (I typically upgrade 1-2 times), but great news for collectors and people building a lot of themed rooms. Can’t wait to see what people come up with!

Yeah, this was my thought. This is the mainfloor with a basement. (You can also see the beginning of the stairs leading up if you look very closely.)

Of course we will also have a second floor, but I doubt it will have more than one room.

Six rooms in total was more than enough in previous games. At some point it would really be ridiciulous to have a huge mansion while all other villagers just have one room!

i don't think we will have more rooms than in previous titles, with so many different players on one island you won't have a lack of rooms anyway so yeah. i think it's the main room with a basement, as others have said

As some other posters in this thread said, I also believe it's the main floor with stairs leading to the basement and upstairs. Someone on Reddit posted a zoomed in screenshot where you can clearly see a few pixels leading in an upward position.

But, I certainly wouldn't mind additional upstairs room. I'd make fully fledged bathrooms, main bedroom, guest bedroom and a lounge area in the middle room.

I've never had enough space to display everything I've wanted to. Its always frustrating to either let an idea go to waste, or tear down an existing room.

You could always just not fully upgrade the house.

I used to think too many rooms was unnecessary, but the more I?ve played NL and seen how many more options for cute furniture and customization we have in NH... I am planning to give my island a natural & nature focus outdoors and give my home lotss of detail
Too bad we probably won?t get more room options. Then everyone would have the choice

I would be fine with more rooms, in NL I was using my alts homes to put in the other theme sets in them but I doubt we get more should be the same as it was in NL.
