I really don't see the need to have 2 threads for pre-release and after but whatever.

So, only new posts count for bells?

Ha yah... that would be a bad idea to make all posts count. Also, it doesn't count in every board. By the way, you're supposed to start with 1000 Bells, but people who were at TBT the day I installed it may not have the right amount, so I can manually adjust it.

No, this system isn't based off of the post count number. If you remove posts in TBT's ACP, then it doesn't affect the bell amount, however admins can adjust anyone's bell count in a separate setting.

I only asked because if that's the case it seems weird he wouldn't just say 'You can't get them in Brewster's'.
