amiibo card color code??

I was looking over my cards and I jokingly thought that the cards were colored based on birth dates when I noticed that two cards of similar dates were the same color... then I noticed that they all were organized by birthdays. Am I right in assuming the colors are organized by astrological signs e.x. Libra, Scorpio, Aries, etc.?
