An idea in times like this

Or... Promote new mods? Preferably people who are actually active most of the time.

Really, the current staff is a joke. Yes, they do their job well...when they're active. Right now, the staff is like a puppet, being controlled by trolls, spammers, and bullies. We need to take action.
Your really asking to be a moderator? I don't think you be fit for the job lol. Not saying I would be or anything though.

I don't mean this in any disrespect, there are plenty of good choices out there. A few naughty little fellows, that wont get the chance because of the great overlord.

I never said that I wanted to be a mod, did I? No.

I wouldn't exactly call us a joke, we all try to be active as we can. For example, you will mostly see me online during British/European hours, I wake up at around 9AM and come off the PC at around 10-11PM, most of the in-between time I will be on TBT.

If you look at it, we have got staff ''patrolling'' TBT most of the say, kind of like shifts at a work place or something.

That's just my opinion though.

Calling the staff is joke is a bit out of order...they have lives you know. They can't be on TBT 24/7 always on the look out for trolls. They're not machines that come on and off at exactly the right time in some kind of "shift". Quite a few of them are at the age where school work is getting harder/more of it, and most normal people would put school before a forum.

Just unlucky when there aren't any on, that's when they strike.

I agree, Just press the ignore button and wait for the staff to ban them.
Seriously is it so hard to press the ignore button? When you reply to them, they will start to make it worse but when you don't they'll just get bored and leave.

But they could be a little more active.

A few of them, yes. At least if they know they are not going to be very active any more, stand down and let a more active member take it on. Before you are I am not saying me, just anyone who fits the job and is active.

Same thought.

If everyone were to hit the ignore button, nobody would report them. Thus leading to whoever is online going through everything and removing their posts etc.
Like with yesterday, I did my best to report every post, or at least every image. Just so that those pictures were at least gone.

Also, when do you ever see a spam attack when staff members are on? Not that often at all!
They will strike when nobody is online, or when their actuivity is going higher and higher, closer to being offline.
So really, having active staff is only as good as having at least one online.
