I began the day today by checking my mail, finding only one letter from Mira...but it was a big one. As thanks for coming to her house yesterday, she sent me her pic!
Starting off on my patrol for today, I noticed Walker was home, so I dropped in to visit him. He told me how he saw Eugene asked Lolly for a sip of her drink, but made sure to wipe the glass off before he drank anything. Well, Lolly does have a cold...maybe he just didn't want to catch it. As I went back outside, I began to water my flowers and dig up fossils, but as I tried to run, I tripped!

I could have went back to my house and used my lovely phone to determine my fortune, but since I hadn't seen Katrina in a long time, I decided to head off to see her instead. First, though, I had patrolling to do, and set off watering my flowers and digging up any fossils I saw...while walking, of course. Eugene pinged me up by the bridge, and he said he wanted to move on the 25th. No way, Jose...me and Astrid need you around here! Luckily, he changed his mind, and decided to stay. I spoke to Rosie next, and she wanted some new furniture. Here, I thought, was my opportunity to get her something for that last empty spot in her house, so I made a note to order her something nice. Continuing on, Apollo gave me a frog costume. Maybe he wants me to look like an animal so I won't stick out? I'm sure he means well, but I'm a person, darn it! Talking to Apollo again, he said he wanted a piece of fruit, and I headed up to the nearest fruit tree and grabbed him a peach. He was grateful, and gave me a detective outfit for helping him out. I saw Savannah by the illuminated tree, and she said she had a gift that was meant to be delivered to Rosie. I agreed to take it to its rightful owner, and luckily, Rosie was nearby. She said she'd already ordered a replacement, and asked if I'd like to buy it for 88 bells. That was a very cheap price, so I agreed. I opened it to find a comfy sweater...this actually might make a very nice fall or winter outfit! I'll have to remember to re-order it once that time of year rolls around again.

Down by Re-Tail, Reese was buying turnips for 110 Bells. That's more than I paid for them, but only by 10 bells, so I opted to wait until at least tomorrow. I saw Mira was home, so I dropped in on her, where I found her dreaming of fighting evildoers. Keep the world safe, superhero bunny! She reminded me that Lolly was still sick, and since I was all done watering, I headed to Main Street, where I grabbed some medicine for Lolly, ordered a new item for Rosie's house, and bought a red ribbon for my catalog. Afterwards, I made my way to Katrina's, where she told me my fortune.

There was no way, no how, I was going to wear women's bottoms! ESPECIALLY when I'm posting my town goings-on in a blog! Katrina offered to sell me a lucky charm for 10,000 Bells, but that is one of the biggest ripoffs I've ever seen. I'd rather just avoid any running than wear women's clothes, or shell out 10K for a silly hat.
After walking back down below the tracks, I headed straight for Lolly's house, but Eugene pinged me first and gave me a clackercart. I considered giving this to Rosie for her house, but decided against it because I'd already ordered something that was pretty close to perfect for her. I then continued on toward Lolly's place, where I gave her her medicine. This is her second dose, so one more day and she should be just fine. Nearer to my house, Astrid pinged me, wanting a different catchphrase besides "y'all". Thank God. I gave her back her default "my pet", since I think it definitely fits her better. Over by my house, I saw Walker again, and he wanted to trade my newly received clackercart for his tatami bed. I figured that item would be worth more if I sold it, so I agreed. I just hope he doesn't display what I gave him in his house...
It was still a while before the mail would be delivered again, so I headed to the Roost to get an afternoon cup of java, and work a shift. Brewster surprised me by telling me my pockets were too full to work, and sure enough, I had a full inventory! That's a handy little detail I hadn't seen before. I quickly headed to Re-Tail to sell my extra things, then came back to work once I had a lighter load.
Roost spoilers ahead!
My first customer today was Punchy, who I was glad to finally see. I served him his usual: Kilimanjaro, no milk, no sugar.
Astrid was next, and I knew she liked Blue Mountain with fewer than 2 sugars and milk. As such, I tried only a little milk and one sugar, and that was perfect for her! Another coffee preference figured out.
Next up was Croque the frog! I know one of the bloggers here has Croque in their town, but I can't remember which...sorry! He told me he wanted a Kilimanjaro with no sugar, and that also meant no milk. He loved his order, and said he'd be keeping his eyes on my town's cafe. Take note, whoever has Croque!
My final customer of the day was Tortimer, who I promptly served his usual of Kilimanjaro with regular milk and 2 sugars.

After getting my superb coffee beans from Brewster, I met Mira again outside, who wanted to sell me her foosball table. I distinctly remember this being in her house, and while it didn't really fit in with her place, it wasn't horrible-looking. Nonetheless, I agreed to buy it off her, which left her singing for joy.
I turned off the game for a while after that, coming back sometime after dinner. I checked my mail, and my item for Rosie had arrived! I promptly headed over to her house, and delivered her new lovely vanity to her. She placed it in the empty spot in her house, and now with the possible exception of the tub, her house looks perfect! She thanked me with a mod wall, and I stuck around to take in the beauty of her new house.

Yes, I know it's a matter of time before she messes it up. Just let me have my moment...
That put the caps on my relatively eventful day. I hope everyone enjoyed it, and don't forget to vote on my police station placement! Bye!
