Any of you play any instruments?

The drums are actually a really cool instrument! They're more than just hitting the drums a bunch of times, you need rhythm.

I play the bass ^^ Kinda sad considering how short I am...
I'm apart of this group band thing, I'm the lead bass. It's like a mini orchestra without violins. We usually play for hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and places in the community.

Oh and I've been playing since 3rd grade so that would be 6 years

I don't have any special genres though

Yeah, I play the drums, like ANY beat and people say (Especially guitarists say this for some reason) "Drummers have it so easy, they're just hitting stuff." But some people don't relize it's way more tiring that guitar and stuff, also harder to master. Because when you're a guitarist you have to master percission with your finger and hand, and also strum the guitar the right way. But drummers have to master their arm, hand and fingers, they also gotta learn how to hit the drum correctly They also gotta master 4 completely different kinds of drumsticks. Atleast the 4 most commenly used. Also when people say "Atleast you guys don't have to tune!!", which brings up another point, tuning a drum is harder, in some ways, than tuning a guitar.

Sorry for going of on a rant here. xD
Just needed to get stuff outta my system I guess. xD

And also, I think bass players are being completely overshadowed, they're "Unsung" if you will. Like bass is one of the most groovy instruments (Atleast I think that). And lays down a foundation for the song, just like the drums do.

I think I started playing the piano around 3rd grade :D I kind of like playing the violin better :p

Ah that's amazing! I played violin for one year and I liked it but my parents transferred me to piano for some reason. I will not complain since I love piano!

I used to have piano lessons, but my teacher was dragging everything out so I quit. Plus, theory was super boring to learn, and Grade 5 was fine for me. I'm getting sht from my parents about it, but I don't see the issue because they aren't paying for it now. Who the hell knows.

Yeah, I also got alot of shiz from my parents about quitting piano lessons, but the piano just didn't intrust me at the time. But now I myself regret I didn't keep going to piano lessons. xD

I'm trying to learn the flute but I can't make any good noises (aside from a train- but that doesn't count). The flute is so pretty I just want to make pretty sounds with it. :c
