Anyone collect figures?

I'm a huuuge collector and I absolutely love figures - I really have to restrain myself though as my shelves are so full and I literally have no space for anything else lmao :') I'll post a photo of my room at some point!

The only thing that would classify for me would probably be amiibo of specific characters. Back during the initial crazy wave of popularity when they were a new phenomenon, I got Ike, Marth, Ness, Lucas, Lucina, Robin, Roy, Zelda and Shiek.
Ike since he's my main in Smash Bros. and because he's from my favorite game of all time, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Marth and Roy because I enjoy the older Fire Emblem games (and because Marth is my secondary in Smash Bros.), and Ness and Lucas because I also enjoy the Mother/EarthBound series. Lucina and Robin were for "completion's sake" since they were the other Fire Emblem amiibo at the time even though I dislike Awakening; though, I never bothered getting Chrom when he eventually came out because yeah, not an Awakening fan, and I avoided Corrin because I really dislike Fates. So, in the end, Lucina and Robin just got in at the right time. Zelda I got because I like playing as Zelda in Smash Bros. despite her not being that good, and I got Shiek at the same time because there was a sale and I figured why not.
After that, last year, I got the Tiki amiibo since she's another classic Fire Emblem character. More recently, I purchased the Alm & Celica amiibo for the same reason. I wish I bought Alm & Celica when they were freshly released and could have saved myself some money, but oh well.
I'm kind of bummed that I didn't get that glow-in-the-dark Boo amiibo since I like the character and the uniqueness of glowing in the dark, and probably obvious from my name that I'm a fan of generally horror-related things, but I didn't bother at the time and now it's ridiculously (albeit not unexpectedly) overpriced on the secondhand market. I also probably should have gotten Waluigi (big fan), Blathers (love birds and owls are cool), Celeste (same reason), and the other random characters I had interest in like Peach and Daisy.
But...
I'm not really big on the idea of spending $12+ on amiibo, and amiibo have the benefit of having bonus utility by granting rewards in games I play. As such, I'm not really the type of person who is comfortable with buying any other sort of figures that don't have additional functionality of some kind. Sure, there might be neat looking figures of characters I like, but if they don't do anything then it's very easy for me to write them off as unnecessary. I kind of like plushes, but I don't even bother with many of those either.

- Lucina (Fire Emblem) Figma
- Ryuko (Kill La Kill) Nendoroid
- Female Hunter: Kirin (Monster Hunter) Nendoroid
- Cloud + Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII) Play Arts Kai
I have a bunch of other figures and plushes hanging around, but I like the Figma's and Nendoroids the best. Bought an Alita Funko the other day because it's pretty much the only piece of not over priced Alita merch I could find (hate POP! Vinyl's otherwise...) and a Gwenpool POP! Rock Sugar figure, again, because it's hard to come by Gwenpool merch otherwise (though I don't mind the Rock Candy figures).

Mostly amiibo figures, and a lot of Skylander ones which are my brother's since he's the one that plays the game. Most of my other ones are from comic cons that I have managed to find, and a handful of pop vinyls. I wish to get more nendodroids in the future, but I've been focusing on other collections lately so I haven't built my figure collection for a while.

I don't have a big collection of figurines (random vinyl toys from gachapon and mystery boxes are a different story... I have too many), but back in the day I used to collect a lot of Pinky St. Figures. I loved making little photo shoots with them and re-ment items :'D I'd basically transform a section of my bookshelf into a tiny house.
But that was a while ago and I lost a lot of them from just moving around/purging. Now I have a few figures related to Walking Dead and the X-Files, as well as some hilariously bad bootleg toys I bought just for laughs. Sadly, my collection is split between my parents home and my old room mate's house that I haven't completely moved out of. The only figures I have on me now are my amiibos and random vinyl toys. For the amiibos I have a few ACNL ones and some LOZ/BOTW ones. I definitely want to complete my BOTW amiibo collection one day! And maybe the other LOZ ones. Hopefully I don't fall down a figurines rabbit hole, but I would buy some of the bishoujo statues, especially the DC ones.

random ones and some keychains which are in form of figurines from Kirby and Animal Crossing.

I used to collect when I had my own apartment, but now that I'm back at my parents' place I don't have many of them visible.

I have two Simbas (one from last October and one from back when The Lion King was released), two Snoopys (one of them dressed in a suit and wearing glasses), a BB9, Stich, a Cactuar and a black mage Chocobo from Final Fantazy, Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas, a classic Megaman, a Totoro, a Raiho from Shin Megami Tensei games, a Monokuma from Danganronpa, two Hello Kittys (one dressed as a Roman Gladiator and the other with glasses and a dress), two teddie bears, one fox and a sabertooth tiger (yes, really).
As for figures, atm I have some of the old Disney Universe on my shelves: Maleficent, Han Solo and Darth Vader, and I have a few more easy in my drawer. I also have a mini-figurine of Luke Von Fabre from Tales of the Abyss, Adell from Disgaea 2, a generic female Samurai from the Disgaea series), the Ducktales box set, Fate/Stay Night Saber and Archer nendoroids and a very big Hajime Hinata from Danganronpa in his pre-game uniform.
I kind of need to get a few more shelves and remove cluster from my bedroom. Ops

I've sorta been switching from collection to collection a lot for most of my life. I'm always collecting stuff, usually just different stuff. Right now, it's mostly clowns and Pokemon plushies, although I kinda wanna get back into Funko collecting soon. I used to be pretty into nendoroids when I was younger! I still like them, they're just a bit expensive and take up more room than some of my other collections.
I REALLY WANNA START... right now i just have the official mettaton figure, a real crappy devilman figure i got off ebay cuz it looked so funny, and a figure of homura akemi that my cousin got me for christmas! the real fancy figures are so expensive x_x

I used to be crazy and get every one that I loved the design of on top of the ones I was a fan of. But now I'm more selective and only get figures from my fandoms. I'll maybe post a pic later But my favourite figure line is Nendoroid, Figma, and Hot Toys
