Anyone else not excited at all for Red Steel?

Everyone is so hyped about Red Steel and saying it will be awesome, looks amazing, etc., but am I the only one who sees nothing special about this game? There's bound to be a ton of FPS games that will release a few months later that will blow this game out of the water, plus it is releasing the same day as Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I also think the sword battles look stupid.

Hopefully I didn't offend anyone who can't wait for the game.

I'm glad it offers something different than the usual shooting, jumping, charging in and killing games, like Metroid and James Bond. There's actual stealth in this game. Plus swords.

So you would rather see the Wii fail by having first person games blow third party games out of the water?? I can't believe you're saying there is nothing special about this game! Also, If COD3 is indeed delayed, then Red Steel is the only First person shooter at launch. Metroid Prime 3 is a FPA. Yes, an FPA. This game has guns, swords, takes place in america & Japan, has very good AI, and stunning visuals. I don't see how any game could "blow it out of the water" unless it was a third person adventure coming out the same day as Twilight Princess.

I've also heard rumors of 2P splitscreen swordfights... If Red Steel has that, then it's definitely going to be a must buy.

On the touch screen you touch the screen to make movements. With the Wiimote you move your hand...the only way they are the same might be that they're for Nintendo and they are innovative.
