Don't feel stupid, I only discovered you could run at speed by pressing B a few months ago thanks to a ACNH YouTuber pointing it out.

I played like six months before I learned this on accident. Still don’t like running on my island, feels so unnatural!

I love running as I'm usually too impatient although I always slow down near flowers as always feel so guilty when I accidentally knock off all the petals.

Having played the older AC titles, it's actually ingrained in my head not to run over flowers lol. I keep thinking it'll make them disappear.
