Random question but will there ever be an app for The Bell Tree Forums? Notifications for the website are kind of hard to keep track of unless I'm constantly checking the website+email.

I don't think there currently is one, but I really hope that there will be one in the near future!

There are no plans for a mobile app at this time, sorry.

If you wanna push for the funding that TBT would require to purchase the upgrade in order to start making any form of app you can. I hope your hiding a good few hundred under your pillow.

There have been apps made before, but they've all been removed. The staff don't want it. I'm not entirely sure why, so I can't speak for them, but I don't personally see the point of having one. What would be the difference between going on the app and visiting the actual website? Just sounds like a waste of valuable memory to me.

My guess for them being removed is because they were created without staff consent, thus removed to prevent "legality" issues or w/e could arise from an unofficial app.

Yeah, there was an "app" (it was literally a wrapper of the mobile website) someone created that we had taken down by Google a while back. Obviously having people use an app created by another party is a bad idea. They could try to snipe people's passwords, inject their own ads for their own profit, spy on people, or anything else malicious.
