Are there any Villagers you hated at first but grew to love?

I used to hate Peewee when I first met him, but I've grown to love him now. I had to start over City Folk and New Leaf twice due to the 3ds breaking and myself selling and re purchasing the Wii. Peewee was there all 4 times, I think that's super coincidental and I just started growing fond of him.

Despite the fact that Peewee always wanders around at night with a shovel, and his suspicious birthday, I still love him I actually bought his amiibo card the other day so he could move in again since he sadly moved out. He's still up to something though!

I wasn't too fond of Felyne's design, but the more I visited his RV, the more I liked him, so I booted out Stu, and moved Felyne in.

He's just.. the ultimate. ^_^

hello!! when i was younger, i was scared of pietro at first, because back then i had a fear of clowns, but i noticed how sweet he was over time and he grew to be one of my favorite villagers ! eventually he moved out i think when i lost my game and when i found it again i was super sad and deleted my town a few days later, the enddd♪

Axel and frobert. They’re both jock villagers and way at the bottom of tiers. I didn’t really like them nor did I know they existed because they weren’t considered popular but I just liked Axel after talking to him a lot, and my friend LOVES frobert which caused me to like him as well, and his dots!

I was scared of Gaston as a kid and always tried to avoid him. Since then I've warmed up to him. I'm still not sure what he does to his hamster but I'm not one to judge. I kind of want him in my second New Leaf town once I'm able to get one.

When I started my one Gamecube town I was really disappointed that I got Tabby. I like her now though. Much nicer than Puddles.

Honestly when I first started I hated Flip and Deli, i spent so long trying to cycle through my town for them to ping me and move out, but when the time came for them to both move it kinda made my heart sink a little and I actually missed them when they left. Kinda wild.

BIFF. i would spend HOURS trying to get him to move out, although im convinced him and tabby were dating and tabby is my main girl and i didnt wanna upset her, finally i stopped, he asked to move, then changed his mind and it STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN smh
but i started to like him bc tabby and biff would always mention each other, lived right nextdoor, always were taking walks late at night, when they moved even visited on the same days IT WAS ADORABLE

I hated Kiki and Coco at first, thought they both looked a little creepy. But now they're two of my all time favorite villagers (along with maple)

I used to hate all the octopus villagers. I thought the way their mouths looked was freaky, but I got used to them.

Except Octavian. Still looks gross.

I hated Beardo because I didn't really like the way he looked, but he stayed in my town for a little while and I ended up really liking him! He had a really nice house and the dialogue with him was always pretty entertaining to me ~

I hated her when she moved in, like really hated her, but now I like her. A purple frog next to the pink retail, she fits the colors perfectly hahah

Grizzly. At first I thought he was just another cranky, but it just goes to show: my first impression was wrong. Turns out he's really nice and almost a father-figure to me in my GCN town.

Lmao, I got Jambette in my first town and I hated her. For some reason I kept her and we became friends, and luckily by the time the huge Jambette vs Chief thing came around I could defend my loved bb.

Charlise. I'm not sure why but I really didn't like her and was just starting to love her when she moved out. I'm still grieving.

I hated Katt but after a while her little face became cute to me and now she’s one of my favorites

I hated Coach because I just don't like the jock personaility but omggggg i couldn't imagine my village without him now

I found Cousteau to be a bit annoying at first but I soon grew to love him and he's become on of my dreamies. Oui Oui

I hated Olivia at first mostly because I thought she looked so pretty yet she was kinda mean because She is a snooty type. I wasn't aware of types back then as it was on the game cube and I didn't have internet. I had no clue why she was so mean but After finally getting her to like me she was my favorite. I even cried when she moved away (I was ten cut me some slack) she's still one of my favorite villagers and I want to buy her amiibo card to have her in my town in New leaf.
