Are you a cat person or a dog person?

I've found that most people have a specific preference for either cats or dogs, so I'm curious what your opinions are.

Dogs theyre just incredibly loyal and always so pleased to see you. I have 2 but I'd have more if I had the funds to keep them in food/insurance and what not

I love dogs, I have a gorgeous King Charles spaniel IRL but no dogs ATM in AC.

I adore cats.

I find them to be relaxed, calm and just adorable little friends.

As I share a few personality traits with most cats.

Dogs are fine, I dislike the odour they create and their just too hyper for me, so I would never own one again.

I like both but cats are a win for me. They're more like teenagers that can mostly take care of themselves vs dogs that are more like toddlers and need more attention.

I'm a cat person. Dogs are just too much for me to handle. I don't like being covered in constant attention. I need a peaceful animal that will give me space.

My whole town is full of cat villagers. I have Olivia, Ankha, Kabuki, Rosie, Punchy, Moe, Kid Cat, Lolly, Tangy and Felicity.

I love both of them but if I had to choose only one for a pet it'd be a dog. I need that kind of "give me all of your love and attention but also I will protect you with my life" attitude that one of the dogs I already have has.
