I like both. I have a dog so currently a little more bias towards them. I’ve never had a cat before, but I could possibly see myself getting one in the future.
i love both but i steer towards being a dog person. i just love puppers so much, big and small. my dog is a siberian husky so he's a bit of a big boy, but to me he's just a little baby! i love him to death, i can't get over him
I don’t have pets personally (because I take it seriously that they are another life & member of your family, & I already have enough kids), but if I were to choose, it would be dog, because especially my youngest loves them. And also, cats just seem so indifferent. There was just one time I fell in love with a kitty, who was the friendliest feline I’ve ever encountered in my life.
Personally, I find myself drawn to cats more than dogs. While I appreciate dogs and their loyal companionship, I think they require more effort in terms of care and attention. Cats, on the other hand, have a wonderful sense of independence that I really enjoy. For me, cats fit my lifestyle perfectly; they provide a wonderful source of comfort and companionship that I truly cherish.
I'm someone that has never owned either a cat or a dog and don't know that I ever will. I've only interacted with other people's pets. I like them about evenly, I suppose? They both have their pros and cons and I guess it kind of just balances out for me.
While I don't know whether I'll ever own either, I think I'd lean slightly more toward a dog since they have the added exercise incentive that comes with taking them for walks.
I like them both. I originally was a dog person all the way. I only owned dogs really growing up. But when I was 20 I had a really nice experience with someone's cat even though I was allergic. It inspired me to rethink how I felt about cats, and to get my own despite having allergies at 21. I've had cats for about 6 years now, my allergies improved incredibly. Although I'm still minorly allergic sometimes and have random flareups. While I love them, I'm not sure if I would continue to want to own cats for the rest of my life or not. Mainly due to the litterbox upkeep etc. Ideally I want to start owning dogs again as well, on top of my current cats. But I'm not really in the right place in life to take on more pets at this exact moment. Maybe in the future I'll have both cats and dogs again.
i love them both, but i have two cats so i'm a little biased. i also just think they're easier to fit into my lifestyle, whereas a dog would be a lot more work
I can't choose, I used to prefer dogs because a cat attacked me when I was little (and I'm pretty sure I deserved it) but since some feral cat gave birth under our porch and I saw those little ones grew, I love them just as much. My cats are really affectionate and follow me everywhere, I don't really see difference between them and the dogs I had, they also run after balls, bring me their toys when they want to play, take all the place in my bed, sometimes steal my food, lick my face, really I have the same relationship with both.
If someone put a gun to my head and asked this, I’d choose cats. I really love both though, they both have their amazing qualities. If I could get a pet right now I’d adopt two cats. I’d also like a dog one day, but only once I am done studying and can bring it along to work as a therapy dog. I wouldn’t feel comfortable owning a dog and leaving it home alone for hours every day.
Before I had pet cats, I've always wanted to have a pet dog. But as I grew older, I found their barks to be loud and can be pretty annoying when it's nonstop, especially when I am working or trying to sleep. I still like dogs though.
Now, I have ten cats. And honestly, they're also annoying because of their constant attention-seeking and zoomies.
