sure. Among all the cats, dogs, rodents, fish, and hermit crabs, I would be a serial killer i suppose. Or an accomplice at least. My parents have euthanized a many pets and a few guinea pigs have died from illness under my care.

this thread makes me sad.

I've never killed or accidentally killed an animal in my care, but I also haven't had many pets because I'm scared they'll die and I suck at dealing with animal deaths. I had a hamster that died in my grandma's care, but my hamster was already very old for a hamster, so maybe it was just her time. My family/childhood dog also died while I was away from home, she too was very very old.

Yes. I gather up orphans and throw them in my basement. I then nurture them to full health and give them hope and a future. I pay for their education and leave them a good inheritance. And then I die of old age. The real killer? It was me aging all along.
