I'm introverted and have social anxiety. It's a lovely combination that makes sure I never leave my bedroom :(

Introvert but when I don't talk to people (besides my family) I always get a bit sluggish and like "why am i alive"
I'm shy, insecure and socially awkward so those usually stop me from talking to people and meeting up with my friends no matter how close I am to them.

Personally, I think classifying yourself as an introvert or extrovert has more to do with the experiences a person has gone through to make them feel like they fit one of these catagories. I used to think I was an introvert but I've become much more confident of a person since then, and I enjoy being around others.

I feel like describing yourself as an introvert makes you feel less confident as a person. Of course it likely doesn't, but back when I refered to myself as one I was a generally quiet person keeping to myself. I have an abundance of friends now that genuinely care about me, and it makes me happy to think that.

If you read this and you feel like you're insignificant, find the qualities about yourself that you like and work up off that. Maybe one day you'll look in the mirror and say something along the lines of "I look pretty nice today!", and that will make you smile.

I'm an extreme extrovert, probably a bit unhealthy since I get lonely when I'm not around people.
I love meeting new people and talking, it's very exciting for me!

That's because you've always been an ambi/extrovert :)
I understand and appreciate where you're coming from - but if being alone makes one feel lonely, they aren't really much of an introvert at heart. <3

That said, am definitely an introvert. Granted, I wouldn't be surprised if my appalling lack of socialization as a child contributed to that. But I digress - I've always been happiest (and most comfortable) doing things that I enjoy on my own, or maaaaybe with 1-2 close friends or my boyfriend.

Socializing with almost anyone not-Boyfriend truly drains me. Honestly, even keeping up with long-distance/internet friends is difficult for me. I'm just not that interested in small talk or other people's "drama" and "gossip." I know, I am a terrible person; I'm not interested in your life.

I'm that friend that doesn't talk to you for 6+ months at a time, but when I do pop back up, I'll act like we just spoke yesterday. And I'll probably never ask how you're doing, because it just doesn't occur to me as a matter of any importance... maybe I'm less introverted and more schizoid. ?\_(ツ)_/?

I enjoy talking to people, but it definitely drains me more than it energizes me. Definitely an introvert.

Definitely an ambivert, straight down the middle. I enjoy my alone time, but I also enjoy being around other people. Keep in mind that I was born with Aspergers and diagnosed at age 10, so to enjoy both stems from me overcoming the social limitations of it. :)

None of them. I don't believe one person can stick to just any one of those things. We all go through different phases.

INFJ-T Is my personality type. I am an introvert, although a little more open to talking with people. I always wondered if I would feel more comfortable and extroverted if I weren’t so self-conscious of my teeth.

definitely introverted, i've been that way all my life. talking to people drains me more. i like to be alone but sometimes im alone for so long (sometimes all week) that it starts to be unhealthy emotionally. i have social anxiety and depression too so that helps a lot. i wish i wasnt like i am lol

I'd say I'm an ambivert. I like to voice my opinion and I'm not afraid to speak my mind, but many social activities drain my energy. I love chatting with my friends, but sleepovers are too much time that I HAVE to spend with the other person. Otherwise I try to avoid social interactions I guess

I think the best way I'd describe it for me is extroverted with some social anxiety (that isn't too contradictory right?)
I'd enjoy talking or presenting in front of thousands of people, but no way am I having a conversation with a single person if I've never met the person. I like going to some events, but I kinda need to be pushed to go to them (if you just say "hey I'm going to ____, wanna come with?" I'll usually say no). The exception is family events which I almost always try to avoid if I can, nobody in my family has any of the same interests or hobbies as me, so there isn't much happening there. It can also take me a bit to think of how I want to respond to something since I'd rather not blurt out whatever comes to mind first, and instead think of the best response and how to word it.
Other than that, I'm pretty extroverted. I like working in groups, I'm fairly confident in myself and don't really care what other people think of me, and I'll gladly talk about a topic if both me and the other person have an interest in it. But in most cases, if I don't need to talk then I'd rather not.

btw this pretty much all applies to irl conversations. Online I'm fine with chatting with just about anyone about... anything really.

I voted Ambivert a while back and decided to take a personality test. Looks like I am definitely an ambivert, split almost evenly

An extrovert. However, there are definitely some introverted qualities to myself. I'm not the most extroverted guy out there.
