Are you excited for Halloween?

At this point in the year I'm no more excited for it than I am for Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I love Halloween and look forward to dressing up—I just don't enjoy being rushed through the seasons, and admittedly get slightly annoyed seeing people (and especially businesses) start "celebrating" months in advance.

To be clear though, I don't mind others being really into it or decorating early (or year-round for all I care) and think people should do what makes them happy. There's just this commercialized push to head into fall earlier and earlier every year, and it bothers me to see spring/summer skipped over for the most part. Since I get seasonal depression as the days grow shorter as well, hearing everyone around me call forth the darker season while I'm trying to enjoy the warmth and sunlight can just be a bit tiresome.

Yep. I want to find a Steampunk costume this year, but I can't find any good ones.

Actually now that I think about it, I will to say I do have halloween spirit (I love spooky stuff) I do look forward to it even though I don't trick or treat no more haha.
I LOVE HAlloween! Seeing the kids in their costums, watching horror movies and listening to some Halloween-themed jams: Wednesday 13, Misfits, King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Rob Zombie, Carach Angren, etc. Good stuff!
Let's not forget A7X!

^I gotta be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Avenged 7X(their first 3 albums anyway....haven't listened to anything after). BUT HEY! To each their own!;)

Someone FINALLY said it. Celebrating holidays in advance always makes me nervous and honestly kinda sad. As my last years of high school come to a close the last thing I want is a rush to the next season. I want to hang on to this little bit of time I have left, taking in each season with all my friends and family before I'm on my own.

**** no. my mum and dad are gonna be at work on halloween so im gonna have to give some annoying kids some sweets.

Honestly, no, I'm not. I haven't celebrated Halloween since 2012 since my mom wouldn't let me anymore once I became a teenager. It just doesn't really feel like a holiday to me anymore.

On October 31, I likely am just going to go to class and not do anything Halloween-related at all. So I'm not excited for the actual day. But holiday seasons are always fun, just to experience the general vibe and excitement and see decorations everywhere.

I'm a bit excited for it. At the very least it will probably mean a new collectible on TBT and that's always nice. Seeing all the decorations is also an enjoyable part of this season (though it can look a little weird when you see skeletons on someone's yard until December).

here in germany it's not that much of a deal and you're getting stared at if you go trick or treating after the age of 12 and nobody decorates their houses actually. it really sucks because i really love halloween

I honestly only celebrate Halloween on Animal Crossing lol. I don't mind it. I'm not a fan of scary stuff though. I'd absolutely love to attend a cool Halloween party someday and dress up for it. Unfortunately, mid-terms will be the only thing on my mind during the end of October.

i lovvveeee halloween !! it?s so fun and it?s in the best season c:

haunted houses, scary movies, and pumpkin patches c;

Halloween isn't as bigger deal as it is in America in my country. Never been a fan myself but I have some friends that go to parties for it. I also have some other reasons that I don't celebrate halloween. I will look forward to any events held on tbt for it though!
