Are You Fluent in Another Language?

Moi aussi! Le fran?ais est une belle langue.

- Google Translate

I can read simple sentences like that though. Had 3 years of French classes in highschool. It's just weird that I forgot most things like numbers, verbs (etre, faire etc.) :c

I can speak fluently in English. I'm learning French in school though.:) I also wished I put more effort into the language my parents speak (Tagalog) while I was kid. I can understand it just not speak very well.

Finnish is my native, so if you can call my English fluent then that I guess. I know Swedish too but I'd be lying if I claimed to be fluent in it. Someday, though!

Man I wish. I've tried so hard to get into learning another language but it's super duper hard. I really need to consider picking one up again though, maybe Japanese since that's interesting to learn.

I'm (kind of?) almost fluent in French. I'm pretty bad at speaking it but I can write and read it really well.

sign language

I'm fluent in korean

I'd like to learn Korean. I've been learning the alphabet and pronunciation. The alphabet is much easier than Japanese. I could never memorize how to write kon'nichiwa, but I can memorize Korean things. I've only memorized 안녕하세오 though because I haven't done anything else after learning that.

I only speak English, but I can kind of understand Portuguese.

Yes Korean alphabet is easier but I'm still not sure how syllabes work sometimes. I'm trying to learn Russian alphabet, I thought it was easy but no, not for me, the letters that look the same as my alphabet confuse me.

I've memorized pretty much the whole Russian alphabet (but I don't know it in order) I'm still not sure about some of the ways you pronounce the letters. I find it very easy. It's just hard when I'm trying to read sentences or words because I know the pronunciation BUT I'm so used to English so I always pronounce it the way it looks in English and then I'm like "Oh wait ugh" So I find it easy to memorize but confusing to read.

english, spanish, tagalog, and a tiny tiny bit in shanghainese (great at understanding tho)
