Halloween is almost upon us! That said, are you going to go trick-or-treating? I've never been allowed to go trick-or-treating...my mom says that it's not safe to go out and trick-or-treat :3 so I've always stayed at home on Halloween, and I'm probably going to stay at home for this too. If I somehow was able to go though, I probably wouldn't because I don't want to encounter a random clown lol. So, how about you guys?

I was never allowed to go out as a child either, my mother would say the exact same. Trick-or-treating never interested me and never will. That reminds me, need to remove the batteries from the doorbell after I get back from food shopping!

Nah, might just chill and watch movies with my sister while chowing down on candy left over from the trick or treater bowl

I want to, next year I'll be considered 'too old' but my mum said that it's too dangerous with the 'killer clowns'. For 3 hours in car in any direction from where I live, all the 'clowns' do is jump scare people, they don't even touch them or have a weapon. Also, there is no trouble in the village. I stead of trick-or treating, we're buying sweets from the local shop and watching The Lion King.

I watch The Lion King three times every day XD

Yup! I wasn't going to but it's so much fun aha. Besides it's one of the only days of the year where I can eat a ton of junk food. X3

nah, buying sweets from tesco's is good enough for me

Nope! Too old, unfortunately.

Not really.. A bit too old for that plus it's not really that big here anymore unless you are a kid and lives where there are houses and not apartments and we have a code lock to the main door so lel

im putting brussel sprouts in my ferrero rocher >: )

i guess i can't go because my mom said no, but my dad said yes. plus its on a school day. judging from stereotypes, asian australians "don't normally celebrate halloween".

No. Not my thing
Buying candy from the store is my thing while just enjoying myself. I never really had any fun going because I went with nobody in my lifetime (im just some loner) and I don't have risk of having candy being messed with, sooo win-win

If by trick-or-treating, you mean, "hit up the stores the day after Halloween for all the discount candy", then yes. I will most definitely be trick-or-treating lol.

Yup definitely! I don't actually like eating sweets that much, I just enjoy dressing up as my favourite characters from movies/books with my friends and going out to have fun! (I do admit I have gotten a few weird looks and I don't know how many times I have been asked if I am not too old to be going out trick-or-treating, but I just ignore them. Hey, at least I make an effort with my costumes!)

Despite the fact that I could just go to a candy store and get whatever candy I'd like rather than going out at night and hoping I get good things and that I won't be murdered while walking around in my dark neighborhood that has several pedophiles living in it and having my feet hurt from all the walking

Yes, I will be going trick-or-treating.

Yep! I'm going as a Hufflepuff (A.K.A. I couldn't make it to the Halloween store so I pulled the most Halloween-ish thing out of my closet to wear as a costume).

eh im at the age where nobody really goes trick or treating anymore im only a freshman but i haven't gone since sixth grade because i lived in ****y neighborhoods plus it's on a monday so ew but omg apparently people are gonna dress up for halloween and wear costumes to school that day so i just hope there isn't gonna be those clowns

I'm probably just going to find a party to go to, haha. This'll be my first year not going, but I am excited to go to a party instead!
