I was losing interest a little, so I reset for the second time, creating my third town! I figured I had nothing to lose.
In my case, resetting worked and restored my interest in ACNL. I am back to enjoying the game once again.
So far I have played :
200 hours with my first town, (Auvergne, Dream Code 5700-2159-8013, June 12 - July 10)
365 hours with my second town (Illusion, Dream Code 4700-2336-5599, July 10 - October 17), and
11 hours with my third town (Anglesey, no dreamin' yet! October 17 to present).
not really? i wish you could speed up things since i'm constantly waiting for pings, but i'm more tired of how long things take than tired of the actual game. XD clocked in waaay to many hours according to my activity long since i got it in july...& i just started over, so that's nice, but it's also a pain. idk, i could see why it'd get boring, though, and i know there will come a time where i'll only play an hour each day until i finally check no one's moving & close it for good. ):
Not really. I'm still trying to make some cool areas. I want to do more with tree stumps and I still need some villagers. Right now I'm slowly cycling for the villagers I accidentally TT'd into boxes, and I'm helping people get their dreamies for free.
However, I kinda wish I could have another town to decorate some other way and get other villagers I want. I cycle slowly so I can talk to the temporary villagers for a while. I don't want my town to get stale. I also don't care about where new villagers move in so that I can spend time rebuilding the area they demolished. I'm so weird.
Nope, and I don't think I will for a very long time. For a short period I did go 3 weeks without playing, and that was because I pretty much perfected my 1st town. Upon purchasing my 2nd town, there's still plenty of work that needs to be done to keep me on my feet for a long while yet! and even if I were to get bored one day, I would be the generous type who would help other players out, so there wouldn't be a valid reason for me to stop playing
I haven't completely lost interest, but I don't play it anywhere near as much as I used to. It's starting to get to the point where I feel the game can be a chore. That's usually why I don't play an Animal Crossing game for very long then just wait for the next game to come out.
I have lost interest in it remotely, I still check on it daily to make sure my town is going okay.
But, now I go on the Internet Explorer (On the 3DS) and look up thangs :T
