I started playing again in May and recently my interest dropped hard. I do check up on my game every now and then, but my island is being overrun by flowers.

Every other day, my interest has been dropping hard cuz i dont like winter lol. although i do get bursts of things to do on my island which keeps me hooked for a few days atta time

I haven't played New Horizons in months. My recreational time has been devoted to other stuff. Generally what brings me back to New Horizons these days are forum events. I'm not lacking for things to do, as there's a deep sea creature I still need to catch and donate to the museum, a few pieces of genuine art I still need to donate to the museum, and the golden axe and golden shovel DIYs to unlock. I'd also been feeling the urge to terraform and rearrange my island back when I most recently played. However, my attention is directed elsewhere lately and I tend to hyperfocus on games for a time before moving on to a different one; New Horizons simply isn't it currently. In a macro sense I'd say I'm still "playing" it because I have unfinished business and things to do when I do eventually return, but I'm not currently actively playing it, if that makes sense.

Got the game on release, got burned out super quickly in the rush to get a perfect island and catch up to everyone posting their decorations. I finally got the nerve to open the game up again a few weeks ago... 3 years I've been gone! Thankfully there is a lot of new stuff for me to explore now, and I already managed to get most of my favourite villagers too! I'm slowly getting back into the groove of things, though terraforming and redecorating is still as hard as it was, haha. It's a bit hard dealing with the fomo of seeing everyone with so many items and cool islands while I wasted 3 years, but I think if I just try and enjoy the game at a slow pace I will get back that wasted time and then some.

Kind of bummed that there won't be any more updates now that I've come back to it tho, lol

I have played ACNH a couple of times recently, mostly decorating some vacation homes, and visiting my villagers. Hoping there's some tasks at Space Camp that will involve ACNH. 😊

A few times a month lately. Im just not sure how I want to have my island, and just been checking the campsite and selling crops to pay the loans.

i'm still playing but it feels like i go through swings of being OVERLY INVESTED in my island design and pumping out HHP houses and getting emotional about my villagers and not wanting to touch anything on the game at all because the things that have disappointed me about the game design from the get go become overwhelming and i lose sight of the happiness the game also brings me, in the face of it.

so i would say i still play it but in a more unhinged way than ever before, even when i had 800 hours on my initial island 😂✌🏻

It depends on what else is going on. Atm, I'm doing tbt space camp, but also - pikmin 4!!!
I'm really looking forward to that game. I'm probably going to get it closer to the fall. I haven't really watched any of the directs or trailers so I'm just going to jump into it without any knowledge and it'll be fun!

I tend to play a few times a week after or before work when I can to relax. I want to get into playing for even longer as I want to fully finish my island. I have finished it in the past but I removed everything and started to re decorate again 😂

yeah!! either daily or every few days at the momento ;u; on a hunt for homie photos at the minute + am gifting them rad rad stuff. undecided on whether i should change up the area inbetween an incline by merengue's house and redd's beach. and i still gotta kick out a couple of villagers and complete the HHP storyline !

i recently reset since i flattened my island and lost interest for like a month. found out i much prefer going with a somewhat natural island layout with minimal terraforming lol.

There are a few things I still want to add to my island as it's not complete, but I'll get around to it eventually. I still play, but there's not really a consistent pattern. It's more when I am in the mood or have a spark of creativity/inspiration. Like right now I want to create an outdoor hotspring area that's more trash and rundown then hotspring. But making it look just right will be the challenge and when I had the idea I had already kind of burned myself out with decorating and completing my farmer villager's house/area.

I stopped playing for two years! I played 300 hours in april 2020 and hadn't touched it since then. A week or so ago, I regained my interest! I've been casually playing daily. I have a full time job and no longer live with my parents now, so I don't have the time to play 300 hours in a month again, but that's probably for the best honestly. (first post here in 2 years--hi!)

I restarted my island at the beginning of the year and have been working towards getting every reasonable achievement. I'll continue playing it until that's done.

Only for TBT events really. I do sometimes log on and design some houses in the DLC area, and check Harvey's islands offerings to do so. I'd like to at least finish my museum!
