Why is Tails eating Soup with a Fork?

I absolutely love your signature GIF. Apparently that's a clone of Tails with 1/5 of a brain, but I just had more questions that couldn't be answered, such as why he's trying to eat this very yellow liquid that doesn't stick to the fork at all. And yes, your GIF is now in a Facebook group chat.
