for once, i actually do have some plans for the summer! i haven’t given them too much thought, and they’re of course not set in stone, but my mom and i were thinking of getting season passes and going to canada’s wonderland! neither of us have been there since i was in elementary school (which was a long ass time ago lol), so i’m pretty excited for that! we might also take a trip to the toronto zoo.

That's awesome! I've never heard of the place or been to Canada, but I'm sure you'll enjoy the place. And you can never go wrong with a trip to the zoo or the aquarium to see all the exotic tropical fish.

lmao oops, misread the date. could’ve sworn it said 2021 lol.

i’ve been wanting to see orphan: first kill and don’t worry, darling for a bit. i bought orphan: first kill so i can watch it whenever, i just haven’t gotten around to it yet. also really looking forward to babylon and avatar: the way of water next month, and barbie (only because of margot robbie) and the hunger games: the ballad of songbirds and snakes next year!

as for games, i’m only really looking forward to the story of seasons: a wonderful life reboot next summer. c:

Very nice! I played the gamecube version. It was an odd mix of too realistic and missed the mark on the Harvest Moon whimsical charm. This time around it feels so much more polished. So I want to actually play through it all the way.

celeste, for sure! she’s my absolute favourite npc, and i’d love to be able to have her on my island as a resident! even just her having her observatory in the museum again would be enough for me, since i could see her more often (and create cool constellations!). such an adorable, precious owl she is. if she had an actual house, i bet her interior and exterior would be gorgeous as well!

runner-up choices would be rover and dr. shrunk! shrunk especially would be great, since my island name is axolotl. ^_^

it’s gotten chillier where i am as well! it was so sunny and beautiful and warm just a couple weeks ago, now it’s so snowy and cold. love it and hate it at the same time haha.

i don’t drink warm drinks very often since i hate waiting for them to cool down lol, but my favourite is definitely hot chocolate! been craving it recently, actually. love having it with whipped cream on top, and sometimes marshmallows! also enjoy orange pekoe tea with lots of milk in it, though i haven’t had a cup of that in eons. ;;

hello! deers are my favourite animal! i honestly love them so much — they’re such precious, cute creatures, and i was even lucky to see a herd of them once in a field near my apartment years ago! haven’t seen any since, but i still look every time i drive by. i also own some deer stuff, such as a mug, a few plushies, and recently a christmas stocking! deers and anything that has to do with them, i love.

i also love foxes, wolves, cows, red pandas, cats, dogs etc! i love all animals, honestly haha.

How often does your cat bonk well, bonk stuff?

hi, homie!

the question should be how often does she not bonk stuff? little miss only has 3 talents — chewing on cardboard, meowing, and bonking stuff. she’ll bonk her head into my hands, legs and feet (including my walking boot; she loves that) while i’m petting her, or anything else that’s nearby, like a box, the wall, one of her toys on the floor, a stool etc. she will bonk anything and everything, all day every day. girlie certainly lives up to her name.

it was lovely! i’m bummed i didn’t get a picture. my grandmother had actually seen them a couple times before on her way home from work, but that was my first time seeing them instead of just hearing about them. would love to see a deer again one day! and aren’t they adorable?! cutest little babies.

i literally squealed the first time i saw her in the 2.0 update direct — i wasn’t expecting new villagers at all, let alone a new deer! i got her amiibo card a bit ago, but i’m gonna try to see if i can find her via campsite or island hopping first. i think having her might feel more rewarding that way, if that makes sense haha. definitely recommend having her if you have room on your 2nd island! she’s so lovely. <3

yes, unfortunately. sold a toy hammer, rad feather and invader, and traded my heart wand eons ago, which i regret a lot. i wasn’t really interested in any of them at the time (hence why i sold/traded them), but now that i’m trying to collect 1 of each collectible... kinda sucks lol. oh well, i know it’ll be rewarding when i get my hands on them again one day!

Same here! and absolutely, I mean it too! My town has its own backstory, and I’ve been wanting to do illustrations for them as well with writing like this. It was beyond touching- starting fresh. Hit my soft spot pretty hard, as I’ve practically started my life over a couple years ago and still pushing. You did an amazing job capturing that feeling. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to your new journal chapter!

I remember seeing her for the first time too in the Direct reveal! I watched that thing like a dozen times (I was excited lol) and every time she popped up I knew she’d be stunning in-game too! And the fact that her design is based off of Noh theater masks?! So cool she is definitely going in my 2nd town. (Only reason she didn’t make it into my current one is because Peanut still has my heart lol)
