Same here! and absolutely, I mean it too! My town has its own backstory, and I’ve been wanting to do illustrations for them as well with writing like this. It was beyond touching- starting fresh. Hit my soft spot pretty hard, as I’ve practically started my life over a couple years ago and still pushing. You did an amazing job capturing that feeling. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to your new journal chapter!

I remember seeing her for the first time too in the Direct reveal! I watched that thing like a dozen times (I was excited lol) and every time she popped up I knew she’d be stunning in-game too! And the fact that her design is based off of Noh theater masks?! So cool she is definitely going in my 2nd town. (Only reason she didn’t make it into my current one is because Peanut still has my heart lol)

Hello! First encounter with you but I’ve seen you around the forums and I like a lot of your comments. I thought it would be nice to pop up on here!

- Do you read manga or watch anime? If not any new shows you’ve started watching?

hi there! thank you so much!

i don’t, but i did watch a bit of anime in middle school! i mainly only started watching it because a friend of mine at the time loved it so much, but i ended up getting into it for real for a while! i only watched a couple, and none in their entirety, though. the one i enjoyed the most was fairy tail — it got a bit repetitive for me after a while, so i stopped watching, but the first few seasons were great. the opening music was also awesome! i still listen to it sometimes (mainly opening 15).

in terms of non-anime, i began watching the crown on netflix recently! i don’t really care for the royal family irl, but the show’s been quite interesting so far! the casting is also incredible. i’m nearly finished the 2nd season!

- Favorite Animal?

my favourite animal is a deer, but i also love cows, foxes, red pandas, cats and dogs! i love all animals tbh haha.

- A villager that you relate to or see yourself as?

hm... none of them, tbh. i love the different villager and npc personalities and relate to a lot of things normal villagers say (especially in new horizons), but i don’t really see myself as or relate to any of the characters individually.

- Own any plushies? (Squishmallow)

oh man, i have so many squishmallows. they’re honestly taking over my room at this point lol. my bed is covered in them, and i have some on my bookcase, mini drawers and chair that i couldn’t fit on my bed. i really don’t have room for any more, but i can’t resist... they’re so cute!

no, thank you for asking them! i definitely recommend giving the crown a try if it’s something you think you’d enjoy! it’s not the kind of show i’d normally watch, but it’s been quite entertaining and educating at times! i like that they include pictures of the characters’ real life counterparts, and facts about certain events and how things were after. netflix can be hit or miss at times, but there’s lots of good shows on there!

if i remember correctly, the axolotl’s name is archie! good luck with your squishmallow collection! once you start buying them, you can’t stop — they’re so addictive! curse them for being so adorable.

i mean, it’s considered flying when humans are on a plane, so i don’t see why it can’t be the same for pigs! but the real question is, did someone bring the pigs onto the plane, or did they buy plane tickets and get themselves on there? and if it’s the latter... where are they headed?

i love them equally tbh, but i’m more used to and comfortable with cats since they’re the only pets i’ve had. i’ve had at least one cat in my household at all times my entire life (the longest i’ve gone without one is 1 month and 4 days lol), and i’ve never had a dog. still love them, though.

it used to just be an app where people would share videos of them lip-syncing and doing hand gestures to songs, but now there’s an endless amount of different types of content on there. no video is longer than 3 mins, and there’s ofc comedy videos, videos of people singing, dancing or showing off some other talent they have, educational videos, videos raising awareness to various different topics and issues etc. there’s also usually several trends going on that people make videos for, and the trends start and die quickly.

there’s lots of questionable people and content on there, and it can be a toxic place at times, but there’s lots of cool stuff and people on there as well.

hard to say since i’ve never read the books or seen any of the movies, but it’s never seemed like something i’d enjoy. not super into fantasy stuff lol. plus i’ve heard a lot of negative stuff about j.k. rowling, so that’s made me hesitant to engage with the series as well.

i did, thank you! nothing super exciting or interesting happened, but i’m not complaining! the next 2 weeks are gonna be busy for me, so i was happy to have an uneventful weekend to just relax and start participating in the new tbt event!
