Brews & Horror d'Oeuvres

Love ho
Spent the morning making some mummy cookies! 👻
These are shortbread cookies with buttercream frosting, white chocolate drizzle, and sprinkles for eyes!
Love how cute spooky they look and specially how edible they look !! 😋

Here is mine. I'm calling it Vampire's Delight.

For the drink: berry punch bottom layer, strawberries and cool whip blended middle layer, cool whip top layer, red sprinkles topping on glass.

For the cookies: chocolate chip cookies, red icing, marshmallows, and almond slivers for the fangs, lol.

I wasn't sure if we had to choose either drink/snack or if we could do both. So here's the cookies if we can only do one.

What a beautiful combo ! BTW love the glass, really skeletical spooky, nice touch 👏

EAT ME
I'm jell-o
idk if jello can be counted as a drink... cause you can... slurp it...? or is it food?

We don't have to do it the same day that we get the key, if I understood correctly, right ?
Because I've got an idea but need to buy some stuff for it before 😩

Haunted Cake Bites & Bloody Eyeball Wine

I made lemon cake bites with chocolate frosting, which are individually haunted in different ways! One is a flowering grave with a ghost escaping from the ground, and another is a frankenstein face with googly eyes and nonpareils for a stitched mouth. The third bite features a bat decoration. The wine is white chardonnay with scattered red food dye and icecubes.

Man, mine's going to be some real junk compared to all of the awesome looking stuff posted already. Oh well, participation is participation.

Great job so far, everyone.

dont say that, im sure your entry is just going to be as marvelous ! Every entry is different and wonderful for it

does the description have to include the ingredients? or would something that sounds like an advertisement work? (i can list the ingredients under it, if required.)

also just realized too late that i forgot to include a name tag with mine, so. rip. gonna have to go make it again because i already threw it away like a big dummy.

DEATH BY SUCROSE

I made this drink with orange soda, mini gummy worms and gummy boys hahaha (not kidding the gummies are in the shape of people). I let the gummies dissolve in the soda for around 30 minutes for a sweet, sweet treat! I guarantee that it'll shorten your lifespan by at least one year!

Here's mine... just something simple because of VERY limited resources.

Bloodied Bandages

I cut white bread into thick strips and shaped it like bandages. Then I topped it with sliced cheddar cheese and ketchup for blood. Then I put it on a metallic plate for that hospital sterilized equipment effect.

Guys, help.

I dunno what I did wrong.

...I think I may have baked a tormented soul into my cheesecake.

Boo-sque Pumpkin Cheesecake and Some Blood Hibiscus Tea.

100% remains of the departed-free. I swear.
BTW, 6" pans are great for making small yet sharable desserts. This cheesecake is enough for a light snack for 4 or 2 to share.

I made a cute, little, sweet, sea cucumber blood drink with chunks of sea cucumber and strips of candy straps for flavour (and they're like seaweed!)

I did the best I could, if it doesnt qualify it's ok :)

Well, it'd be nice to know what you made, but I'm fine with creative writing too.
That's a really cool design! However, if you still have that dessert, would it be possible you slice it into thirds (or more) so it can adhere to the requirements for the hors d'oeuvres. If not, you can just resubmit the drink because that's super spooky still. Sorry and thank you!

Bloody witches fingers
If you ever get your hands on some chopped off witch fingers consider yourself lucky. It is said that they still have some magic left in them. Eat them and become yourself a magical beeing but beware of the consequences this may have.

The fingers are made from a normal cookie dough I made myself. Some butter, flour, egg, sugar, vanilla sugar and baking powder. The nails are almonds and the blood is made of two different jams.

I tried to add some spooky details like candle smoke, spiderwebs and a candle.

In the spoiler you find the picture wirh the name.
