Calling something an "Official" Thread? Getting Threads stickied?

Hi, I have a quiet popular thread were people post bagdes and such, were you also discuss bagdes, with almost 400 replies and over 7000 views. But other than that, I think it's pretty necessary to have a thread mainly focused on asking questions about bagdes, were you also discuss bagdes, and post bagdes.

But getting it stickied, I suppose, is impossible. (Atleast for a BTF peasant like me)

Back on track, calling a thread official, without it being stickied, is it against some unwritten policy or...? Idk, if you got any idea or something hope you can write in the comments.

I'll just start a poll, when you've looked at the thread, do you think it should be stickied, or should I fix something about the thread which you don't like? (Open to harsh critisizm)

I think that's a great idea! A lot of people overlook badges, but they don't realize the pain it takes to collect them. I'm all for stickying it!

Maybe not show just yours tho as highlighted at the top if it does become stickied, instead maybe have people who have the most or least badges, or maybe new people getting more badges? Idk, but the idea itself sounds good!

I definitely think it should be stickied. Maybe you can also compile all of the tips people gave on how to obtain the badges? Put them on the front page so that people having trouble getting a certain badge can reference that list rather than go through the entire thread to find the one they're having trouble with? You and others definitely gave some wonderful advice.

Yeah that is a great idea! I'll try and work on something like that in my spare time, like ask Cycling towns for weeds and other stuf flike that!

Stickied posts, from what I have seen, are reserved for posts that would want to be easily accessed. Not saying that yours is a bad idea, because I have seen it before and I really enjoy the concept, but there are some threads that are still not stickied, even though they hold a great purpose.
For example, and not trying to start a debate here, I believe that Skyfall's (originally Lassy's) Guide of Recent Collectible Prices Should be stickied. It serves an amazing purpose, similar to the Villager Tier and Price Guide (which is stickied.) It would reduce the amount of bumps and keep it purely for collectible prices.
That being said, maybe if your thread was more popular or served a more "helpful" purpose, it would get stickied.

Yeah, I could see that, but (in my opinion) I think there is very little done for bagdes in general on this community, at all BTF. Other than wiki sites for bagde requirements. I haven't seen any pages around where you can ask questions regarding bagdes, other than creating your own thread. But yeah, I partially agree with your opinion, thank you for posting!

Honestly, the best way to guarantee not getting your thread stickied is to ask for it to be stickied. If the Staff members feel it needs to be stickied, they will do so. A vote by the community honestly won't count for much. I wish you the best of luck with it, but I wouldn't campaign for it if I were you.

Just because a thread is called official doesn't mean it's gonna get stickied. If that were the case I could easily make some dumb ass thread like "the official nose picking thread " and zomfg instant sticky !!!!!
