Can I disable the eggs falling down animation?

Just tried disabling JavaScript and, surprisingly, the site still works without it by the looks of it. I assume it won't be fully functional but there's a cheap way to get rid of them.

This worked for me. If you are using Chrome, install the Adblock plug-in/extension and then just right-click on any of the eggs and click "block this ad".

Yeah... that works. I think all that will do is hide the images though so the JavaScript will still be running in the background wasting CPU cycles.

I was looking for more of a site-provided legitimate way to disable the animation :/ because I know disabling ad-block helps support the site. but these eggs falling down has been going on for too long for me to handle.

Just use AdBlock for the time being then as it won't affect the site by anything more than a penny or so.

Disabling JavaScript is still an option if you want to look into it. Really surprised that doesn't completely break this site.

I also think snow, eggs and whatever else they may throw at us should be opt-out.

Oh, by the way, there are no eggs on mobile.

The mobile site is a bit rubbishy though and it's tricky to type on a touchscreen so meh.
