Hmmm...both are meh in their purest form so I’m basing this off of the variations you can find. While I like chocolate candy corn I like all the fruit and chocolate candy canes that pop up everywhere!
The reason I voted neither is because I don’t really like candy corn and we always would buy the gross candy canes and it ruined it for me but that’s my opinion I always didn’t like either one so I voted for the one I think is right
Candy canes 100%. Not only are the traditional mint ones good for having with coffee or cocoa...but they now come in a variety of crazy flavors...including other types of candy. On the other hand...candy corn are just...uh...not great. Lol.
if it's the red and white candy canes (peppermint) i would choose candy corns, but if it's the starburst flavored candy canes i would definitely choose those over the candy corns. although candy corn is much too sweet for my liking and I'm not a huge fan of either choices to be honest, that still doesn't stop me from getting at least one or two pack of starburst candy canes each year when they hit the shelves. I eat maybe one or two out the packs and the rest will either be hung up on the christmas tree like an ornament or added in the xmas stockings as stocking stuffers. i don't remember the last time i went out and bought a pack of candy corn, so i voted candy canes for the sake of this poll.
I love candy canes! you can crush them on desserts for a yummy decoration, stick them in hot chocolate for a nice hot peppermint chocolate drink (with whipped cream or marshmallows... or both!), and you can make peppermint bark! You can do a lot a lot of things with candy canes, and I haven't seen a lot of uses for candy corn. I love candy canes way more than candy corn because I never really seem to get tired of the peppermint-y goodness. Candy corn is a bit too sweet for me and I get pretty sick of it easily, which is a bummer because I think its pretty nice. so just to sum up: candy canes > candy corn because now I'm in the mood for some peppermint.
