I got 4 dust for every post I made just now that earned dust. I wonder if they're changing the amounts of dust you get for various activities subtly, perhaps even in response to us discussing it. Or maybe it varies anyway. It's all so mysterious.

I have 74 dust, so far. I'm hoping to earn 100 dust by the time my ticket expires tonight. That will mean I'm halfway to the goal of donating 200 dust for this event. I've also found more success with writing longer posts rather than a bunch of shorter posts. I'm gonna continue this method for the rest of this evening, and see how it goes. Hoping to buy a new ticket as soon as I submit my entries for some of the main events.

I think someone pointed out the last event, but if you're looking for some polls to vote in, once you're within a board, you can use the filters on the right hand side at the top of the board to find polls

It normally doesn't take this long for my cooldown to be over, @Firesquids guessed it would take approximately 6 hours for everything to wear off...

Has anyone tried confirming these cool downs though? I didn't see a clear post and I think Firesquid's guesses were based on what was available from the last event.

I only just got here an hour ago, but i will try at least tonight to find out! (Then I get busy with work)
But for example, Firesquid's guessed 2 in 6 hrs or something based on previous wishing/dust events but I only was able to get 1 Reaction haunting and I was busy voting for something in one of threads, so I've definitely done more than 1 Reaction.

From my initial dust collection I got
Haunt of Conversation: 8 per ? hours (2 profile posts, 3 in the carnival forums, 3 in the basement)
Haunt of Viewing: 1 per ? Hours (for viewing a carnival thread), 1 per ? Hours (for viewing a profile)
Haunt of Acceptance: haven't gotten any yet
Haunt of Democracy: 1 per ? hours
Haunt of Reaction: 1 per ? hours?

Also, if you look at your Transactions, you can easily see when the last time you triggered an event (or perhaps calculate cool downs) by using the filters to see how much dust you got and when, by the type of action

In your transactions page, select Filters at the top right

then select Event Trigger

I would like to "Confirm?" that there is a cooldown to the Haunt of Acceptance, as I got the 1st mirror correct, and didn't get any dust.

(Unless it's only when you get accepted where it shows on your posts with the green rectangle, I may have incorrect info on this)
