Eh I think that Tessa is more towny now. Funnily enough cause I read a Kiko post completely disconnected to this bit and didn’t like it.

I don't like that though, how am I more towny because someone is less towny? Is it me or kiko?

still need to try and catch up on what I missed, but I was thinking about what info I had. Right now, I'm still leaning to place my vote on Raven for reasons I discussed before, 'm going to cast it now just because I've been on that point since the inactivity talk started, of course I'm still waiting to hear what Raven has to say, and am pretty ready to change my thoughts when she shows up and hopefully contributes some thoughts of her own.

In terms of my other feelings, I really am not liking how hard Dolby is pressuring for that power vote. It's mostly a gut feeling right now but I want to listen to it. His first post here and analysis really had me thinking town but the more I think about it, the more it feels like controlling the game and trying to manipulate our opinions? I don't know, I'm not ready to shout I think you're Mafia but you're the person I'm most worried about, I get that there is probably a reason why you can't/don't want to reveal why it would be best going to you, but I just don't see you building any trust on being town and just flat out pushing that it should go to you. I really don't like that.

Tessa is my strongest and only confident town read.
Betsy and Dan I need to look back at still because there is reason for my perspective to change.
Kiko I feel pretty town about but I'm not Tessa level confident on. I could see you being maf and playing a very strong game.

Ok Dan has said a lot of things about kiko that as I reread I want to further think about. Kiko you've said some things that have alluded to a much nuller read on you and knowing that roles are not revealed at death persuades me to possibly take the vote off betsy.

My hesitation has lead to a town loss (ahem cop 9er betsy im sorry) When me and frosty talked about my inconsistency in play style what I meant is I am trying to play with more confidence and surety because I feel that it gets more of the answers that I need. As of now- I could get it all wrong or change my opinion, this is just as it is right now.

Dolby - I dunno. I think it's very possible you could be town. Asking for the power right away? That's a bold move, Cotton. Too bold? Maybe. It would be a huge gamble to give you that power. If town, could be the difference in the game. But bold can also be maf. So I'm trying to read based on other than the item grab...if I don't vote to give frosty the item, I might take a chance and give it to you.

Not comfortable at all with sudden read flips, without a real follow up explanation. I'm still weirded out by tessa (sorry, tessa!), and I can't decide if her vote for me was omgus as I sussed her in the beginning, or hopping on a maf created wagon, or the beginning of a maf wagon, or she genuinely thinks I'm maf, despite reading my play as town from the start.

I'll type more...slowly...one stupid finger at a time...

Kiko - I'm neutral on kiko. It's not fun being sussed, but kiko is giving reasons, active in discussing the sus on me, and is logical in reasoning. That all seems town. However, when a few people suddenly form a wagon, (with some reads flipping, no explanation), I worry it could be maf wagon. This can pull town into town tunnels. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out who's driving the wagon and who is just town caught up on the ride. I wouldn't vote kiko today, though, because I do see a lot of logic and reasoning behind how he came to his reads.

Okay here's some of the stuff that felt off as I look farther into @kikotoot 's game so far.

-The constant lookout/mention of prs. It's okay to discuss the existence of prs since this is a closed setup, but I've seen a LOT of posts egging people on. Like you want someone to soft so you can take advantage of that. It just feels super off to me in a sense that why would town keep mentioning that nobody has alluded to having a role yet? role reveals end in death and mafia gains power. it's not towny to me to say that repeatedly.
Examples:

You've definitely been super self-assured since joining (idk if that's a good thing though), but I guess we'll see if the mafia feel threatened enough to kill you tn or not if you do end up getting the power.

(less of a mention but slightly feels like one)

While no one's made it clear if they have any traditional roles or anything yet (probably for the best), abilities were pretty intricate in baby park so maybe people can use some more chatting to help them pick what to do tonight.

No one's talked about roles or abilities yet outside of that power we vote to give out. It makes sense Betsy would be confused as they haven't got their role yet, but no one's followed up on that comment. Possibly in their best interests though, as people with powerful roles could be targeted if revealed tn

-It felt so weird that you strongly tr'ed me and brought it up a lot after I originally sussed you. Almost like you were trying to clear yourself, and then after that you asked something of me. I'm not going to agree with someone simply due to a townread.

examples:

Ok yeah, Tessa has the strongest town lean for me so far.

if you put a gun to my head and asked me to pick a townie, I'd pick tessa rn

and then, later on:

maybe tessa votes power for me too?

-Will place a suspicion on someone but easy to switch to other opinions. A lot of "don't take this too seriously "feeling kinda towny/kinda null on so and so". It just feels like you're intentionally trying to be in the middle so you can follow to the town side. I get being unsure as that is my entire personality but if you're going to make a claim against someone or use evidence softing it isn't gonna be useful for town. This wasn't the way with Damniel at first, though. You definitely were against him to start.

-Reasoning to support a read isn't actually very backed up. Either that or it's already been mentioned. Once again, it's day one so I can let this pass. But some of your logic just... doesn't make sense to me? I know we already discussed how no-elim is bad because of the numbers.

Examples:

vote-wise, I think I'd like to give the power to one of tessa or frosty, probably frosty because they're newer and I'm excited to see how they use it.

(to clear things up i do not want the item. i think it's best that it goes to frosty.)
But that reasoning? Makes no sense in my opinion. Shouldn't you base it off of who's more townier or who will utilize the item the best?

Honestly, even if we can't know for certain who's a townie or not (vv likely for tonight), I'm down to take the risk of voting to give it to someone at random since it's likely to be given to a townie

At random is possibly one of the worst situations we could get because some people in this game do seem inherently town. I'd much rather take the risk of giving it to someone who seems like they could handle it than not knowing who it goes to.

Imo, Dan's been treating Betsy in her "pre-role-knowledge" era a bit too positively, and my guess is that that comes from Dan being maf and knowing that his fellow maf was the person Betsy subbed for, and Dan then assumed that Betsy would absorb their maf role and be on his team so would benefit from painting her in a good light. Then there's my overall read on Dan (which, again, could just be how he plays but strikes me as slightly maf-ish). Then there's also the fact that now, having knowledge of her role, Betsy is still relatively forgiving of Dan, and didn't aknowledge how he treated her pre-role-knowledge as a disclaimer. Looking at votes now, Dan voted to give Betsy the power (without really doing substantial new reads on people after the whole no-role-knowledge fiasco), and Betsy's currently waiting to vote, which, for the reasons I mentioned earlier, gives a slight maf lean.

Raven is easy - I'm waiting to see if/what they post this evening.

They should have enough time to at least do a quick read through and give some sort of opinions. If totally absent, though, I could vote them (can't stand mystery slots), but they should at least have the chance to give some input.

Dan - I have no idea. Is Dan town, thinks I'm clear, and genuinely reads me as town? Or is he trying to pocket me and lead me astray while at the same time painting a target on my back?

I have no idea. Could be mech/numbers he's leaning on? What bothers me is that dan votes to give me the item, which I don't want, and then a betsy wagon starts up. Dan might (?) be ok (?). I get the feeling (could be wrong!) that maf really, really wants to be rid of myself or dan.

Unless it's dan, but that's some convoluted strategy that seems, unlikely. I would not vote dan today.
