Kikotoot Part 2
my role's power is:
"a little something extra" (self-named, didn't want to copy/paste the role title)
if the person winning the item also received my vote, I give them "a little something extra" with the item: immunity for the night. (I wasn't told how it would read to the person receiving, if it'd just say something generic or what or nothing at all). the catch is I can only grant each person "a little something extra" only once.
this is also why I couldn't save tessa night 1. By the time I realized the mistake I had made, it was too late, we were done voting. (any time someone would be like "I hope tessa isn't screaming at me!" I'd laugh cuz I know that I'm literally the one she's screaming at for being dumb )
that's the same reason I didn't want to waste giving the item to dolby again on day 2, my power would be useless on him as I used it up night 1 (this was also back when I thought I had more faith in him and did want him in the game still. Not so much the case now)
everything I've done in game has either hinted to this, or been me trying hard to throw people off my scent. I aggressively alluded and hid myself, cuz I knew that if the townies could plan around this immunity, we'd be set, but if I was targeted, I'd be useless
I've tried *very* hard to hide this by doing things such as playing dumb about different immunity roles in the game (soooooo much of this game has been me acting and playing things up. has been really fun, I'm not crazy irl, ty ppl for occasionally patronizing me and adding to the whole "I'm new and clueless" narrative, idk where it was intentional or not but it was helpful for my goals 100%)
Just like in baby park though, being a relatively strongly powered townie, I knew I needed to play the middle. keep heat off me from the mafia, letting them think I'm crazy or sussing the wrong people or generally a good townie for them to keep alive, while enticing the townie's trust enough to not kill me off with a vote. I think I've been straddling that line pretty decently
I needed to get *just* enough townie trust with the vote, and then lose that trust during the night to not be a mafia target, and regain it the next day.
this is also why i just kinda assumed there would be two mafia. with an immunity power, that skews things in the villager's favour pretty heavily
on the role fishing.
I really wanted to maximize my impact in this game as someone who could give out immunity.
if you look at my posts, you'll see I'm trying to draw out information from people to help inform who I'd protect (which is conveniently the same thing a maf would do to find who to kill). I also just genuinely didn't believe no one else would have unique power, but then all the classic ones got revealed from tessa and raven and I was like "is dolby or dan in on this too? or what's up?" kinda thing
Another thing you might not have noticed this time, is I always tried to concentrate heat on one person for the most part when going into the night (in addition to taking heat off myself). I tried to subliminally guide the mafia's hand towards the person who would be protected (I *really* wanted there to be one night with zero kills so I could feel cool).
You'll find that my *entire* game is consistent with:
me wanting to keep enough heat from the townies so I am not a mafia target (literally the same as I did in baby park). You'll notice especially that I get very sussy during nights cuz I've already survived the vote and am now trying to steer the maf away from me, and then get (slightly) more normal during the day to try to reel some votes back without needing to do a role reveal (rip that)
me wanting to direct heat from the mafia onto one person (so I can more easily make the right predict) (today for example, me. I wanted to seem more powerful than betsy but also still possibly killable so I could waste the mafs kill by having them target me)
and me wanting to determine who the best person would be to give my item vote for and push for to get the item so they'd be protected in the night
This was a very fun and very tricky role to play, but I've loved it so far. truthfully, am also quite pooped from all the acting and am ready to play more plainly
but yeah, vote me for the item. I'll likely be able to prevent a kill in f3 with my ability, which could be super valuable
<old paragraph from this being copy pasted from yesterday>
frosty, why I got so close with betsy was cuz 1 we mindmelded and imo her power is incredibly obvious, classic to mafia, and potent in the late game, and 2, her language felt to me like she was alluding to having an idea of what immunity power was out there. When I saw she was maybe picking up on my hints, I needed to let her know that she was right and it was with me (some sort of item related immunity power), without letting the mafia get in on it, cuz having 2 high prio targets and knowledge of who'd be getting immunity (votes are public) makes it an easy way for them to get a productive night kill every time. In addition, you'll see that as soon as we established the plan for me to get immunity, I started to downplay both betsy's powerful ability as well as personal town lean, to make her have less heat from the mafia so I could be targeted instead of her, seeing as she'd be vulnerable in the night

<old paragraph (again, this was copy and pasted from how I was feeling before today's discussions)>
what we need to do now is: decide collectively who we want to get immunity tonight, and that means we put whatever we can out on the floor
what are your goals as a townie, give me scenario trees for your powers, whatever you can. This is a coordinated effort. Dan, again, I have literally no idea what you bring to the table. idk if there's a tanner in this game or mafia with less info but, atm I'd wager you're one of them. that means: dolby, you're the one I feel safest voting out tonight outside of frosty. your power feels relatively useless ngl, you've been protecting dan with next to no justification or game information despite apparently having some. It's too late for "trust me bro" to suffice anymore.
<end of old paragraph>
towns are a democracy and I'd like to make this power democratic (which it already is essentially). So post below who you think should get immunity tonight and why. Then, we vote. We're the majority, we can win
they said they wanted good TV, let's give it to 'em
imo, the best play is to give me the item
if there's a roleblocker, they'll likely use their power to take me out of the game
if they leave me in the game for whatever reason, then I get framed super hard and the heat's on me and off of them, I get to safely report whatever info my item gives me, or there just is no roleblocker maybe and everything can work out
I do sincerely believe saving me with the item is in all of the townies' best interests
I wouldn't have done this if I thought there was any other way for me to survive today's vote, I'm sorry, but this is my hail mary, this is my last resort.
omg I get to start off a fresh page with kikotoot part 2, iconic
