Childhood misconceptions

As a kid, I was really afraid of accidentally eat any fruit seeds... I thought that fruit will begin to grow in my stomach until it pops out like a xenomorph from the Alien movies... (don't let overimaginative kids, like 4yo me, watch those movies either )

I thought cars only moved forward when you stepped on the gas pedal and not slowly on its own.
