Comfort Character Letters?

Has anyone gotten a comfort character letter from Etsy? I've purchased two from an Etsy seller known as AsgardianApothecary. They've been amazing. I got one from Rey ( Star Wars ) and Kurapika ( Hunter x Hunter ). The one from Kurapika almost made me cry ): In a good way though.

Honestly, I’ve never done this, but the concept is interesting to me. So basically, they are customized letters from certain characters, but they stay true to the personality of that character? I might consider getting one in the future.

Yeah. That's pretty much what it is. It's been pretty accurate so far. I recommend them. It challenges me to come up with details for the letter.

huh, i never even knew this was a thing. sadly, my comfort characters are my own ocs, so even if people were open to writing a letter as one of them, i don't know how accurate it would be, and the fact that i created them might break the illusion too much anyway rip. i'd love one otherwise.

You could request one of your OCs and tell them about your OC. Just an idea ^^.

Ahhh this sounds like a really cute idea (and boy howdy do I have a lot of comfort characters), but I think I'd probably be a little too shy to purchase one. ;u; That, and I'm aware that I could be nit-picky about the details, eheh.

i did actually reach out to a seller and asked if they were willing to write for OCs. they said yes, so i placed an order and sent them the info. they have a lot of positive reviews and the letters look super cute on the outside alone, so we'll see how it turns out!

ooh yeah, i heard about these on tiktok a while back! i’ve personally never ordered one, but i’d really like to one day! i’m curious to see how accurate my comfort character’s personality would be, and i feel like reading it would maybe even help me whenever i’m feeling depressed or overwhelmed. i’ve refrained from ordering one, though, as i have no idea what i’d want them to say lmao.

The price with this seller was reasonable. In my opinion.

I meant the care packages can be pretty pricey, they average around 60 dollars, at least the sellers I've seen.
