The Event and AC Content committees are now open. We actually accepted everyone that applied for a few reasons. Since the groups are just starting, we thought it would be best if everyone who wanted to do it should get in for now. This helps us see how things work and it gives each committee a good start. Also, the biggest test for the committee member is when they're actually in the committee. Members can be kicked out if they don't participate with the committee as well, so it's not like this is permanent (and there will be more members in the future too).
So here are the first group of members that will be starting the two committees. Pichubro and Gengar in the Animal Crossing Content committee. Ultrabyte, .bored, Fanghorn, OddCrazyMe, and Justin125 in the Event Committee.
I noticed a lot of people said they were interested but never actually applied. You can read how to do that here: http://forums.the-bell-tree.com/index.php?showtopic=17969. We will still be taking the application questions because those are good to have and help us see which each member is like. It is likely that the way people are accepted into a committee will be different in the future, but it will remain the same for the time being.
