After expanding on the past work of Ace Marvel et. al., I can reasonably say that the lower bound is, in fact, 0. Due to the upper bound of infinity, however, the odds of guessing correctly are still effectively 0, and this information is moot

(Jk, I always love the candy counting competitions, and am looking forward to the next one!)
