Many of you figured out my shenanigans and guessed 3, which I assume is due to the cream and tan strings looking nearly identical once stuffed into the jar. Here's a side-by-side photo of them untangled and in a slightly less sinewy state:

I’ve been busy and not on here to see most of the Halloween event, just came on late last night, shortly after this game closed so sad cuz I looked at it and was like “those have to be whole long strings of each color” and would have guessed 3 if I’d seen it in time

I was also one of the ones who guessed 3 and I almost thought of putting 4 just because I thought you might throw in an extra one...

Ultimately my logic for picking a small number was because it would be a waste to cut up the strings in to small pieces whereas keeping them long you could reuse them after.
